Someone has their wires crossed. I believe I did get the point of those verses and it is you who did not. For you see, I recognize what it is those words actually said, not what you wish that they mean.

Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth:
I came not to send peace, but a sword.

That is exactly what it says.
Came NOT to send peace but a sword. Not to 'save' but to slay. What is basically being said here, and by these verses:

Matthew 10:32-33 32Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Is that the jesus of the bible is not willing to show mercy to anyone but those he sees as his chosen. The rest, to him, are worthless lumps of flesh to be quickly slain and then 'discarded' into a lake of fire.
No, grinder, the jesus of the bible and the god of the bible are neither loving nor merciful. The god of the bible is a merciless heartless tyrant, and jesus is definitely a chip off the ol' block.

Seeing as I do not believe in any part of xtianity, I'm not worried about any judgement day or hell, but I still find it amazing that so many people look at the book of their religion....yet never really read it.

You are finally showing some signs of intelligence! Now that you've grasped all that, would you care to explain why it is that you choose to stay unsaved, knowing that the Lake of Fire awaits you?
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

The Lord tells us many times in The Bible to 'observe'. I suggest that before posting any other "genuine questions" you attempt to become aware of the way He has ordered things.

Ever been up a mountain? It doesn't get hotter as you climb does it?

Heaven will be pleasant in all aspects.
