Hi people,

I am from South Africa, I lived in LA for 7 years have 3 little Yankees !
I am a borne again Christian and gave my life to Jesus when I was 15.
I got brought up in a Dutch German Reformed Church, but since we've been overseas and we could not find our Church we had to look around and joined a Christian reformed Church which we very much enjoyed.
I am now on a stage that I only believe what the whole Bible says and focuses more on the New Covenant and what Jesus had to say how and what we should do with our lives. When it comes to the basics, He commissioned us to do the same what He dead when He was here on earth as a man, share the Gospel, free people of demons and to heal the sick!
I am always learning more and wanting to do my best for Jesus although I am sinner! I do repent and try not to do the same sin again!
My goal in life is to become more powerful(warrior) through the might of the Holy Spirit and to glorify Jesus by doing His will not mine!
I read through some of your Church's laws and I cannot say that I agree with it, but I do respect it. To give some examples..1. the masturbation issues and 2. the clothing- we used to wear suites to church and I had no problem with it because we are doing it out of respect for God, but if someone is not trying to cloth himself for the soul purpose of disrespecting God and is fairly decent, I cannot see how Jesus would want to send that person away from the Church if he is in a spiritual need? Does it say in the Bible that we need to wear suits to Church or is that a Church law? As long as you are decent I think everyone is welcome to enter and hear the Gospel!

I guess this is me in a nut shell and I have been referred to as thinking I am holier than other or that I judge, but these accusations where made in not all Christian forums, I was just relating to the Bible and I guess not all like that very much!

Lets see how I do in this forum, oh, I am a person who do not go out and try to please people, I try to please my God the Creator and His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit then I try to serve my fellow man!

Cape Town is like any other American town just smaller, they have a population of over a million in Cape Town if I must guess. It might be a 3rd world continent, but it is close to any other 1st world country, it has one of the best economies in Africa and is known for diamonds and gold and we are going to hold the soccer world cup in 2010.

I am more than disappointed to see that you are dismissing God’s Word to suit your deluded, lieberal mindset. I expected a little more from someone from the land that gave us such Godly luminaries as B. J. Vorster and P. W. Botha.

Son, foreigners of any kind, negro or otherwise, have a much more difficult time getting into heaven. We have a few True Christian™ success stories around the globe, but most of us are 100% American here, and since the good ol' U S of A is God's Favorite Country© it's just easier for folks like us to accept the real Jesus.

Your posts are also filled with spelling and grammatical errors. God hates it when people abuse His favorite language American English. Please try to use it properly on our Godly forum.

As far as clothing is concerned, suits and ties of non-blended fabrics are all I wear. And I'm Saved® already. Unsaved Trash like yourself ought to show a little respect for our Lord by dressing up to please Him.

Listen! I do not know who you are, but to generalize dark people and say they are all lost is not what I think Jesus Christ would say! If you are a real warrior for Christ it will be your first prerogative to try and love and save as many of the 'Darkies" as you can correct? I sense a lot of negativity in your reply and about the satanism sign, it is very well known by most people, so no secret there!
I too believe in the Bible, but I sometimes struggle to see what other people seem to get out of it, especially if there are negative vibes!
We know where the lost go and we must try to save them before it is too late!

Please tell me, who judged me and decided I am not saved? Whoever is doing this is taking away God's job and is that correct according to the Bible? Let He who is without sin throw the first stone!

I know you guys are being proud of being saved and I am glad, but what is up with you all being the God's favorite this and favorite that, we are all God's favorites, He loves us all, not one more than the other! Did you get that in the Bible too?

I also have the utmost respect for our God! I do not dress up to try and look more fancy than another member of the Church though, because I come to get the message from the Lord. I always look decent and respectable! Do you think went Jesus went around and preached the people said, wait wait I need to go and get my suite, no Jesus preached to them and converted them. He had plain fishermen for disciples not smart dressed guys that catch the shine when they walk in to a building and grasps all attention with there clothing!

Are you trying to let me look stupid because of my English grammar, ok then if you are so smart lets have a contest, you write in my mother language Afrikaans and I will communicate with you in your language English! Deal?

Something is really wrong here! I have never touched marijuana, but now you accuse me of smoking it. So I assume the Church allows you to lie in the forums. Why would you talk about an ex-negro is that not racism? You cannot think you are better than other if you believe in Jesus Christ, looking down on other is sin! Jesus tells us to humble ourselves and serve our fellow man!

I am sorry for all the questions, but me and my family lived in the States for 7 years (is a citizen) and lived in England for 2 years and have not yet come across people who say they are reborn in Jesus Christ that share all your views!
