Christians as a whole are pretty nice people, and it's hard to tell people from a certain religion from another...until you get to extremists like you. I was reading a post where this man's wife was pregnant, and he beat her anyway because he walked in on her in the shower and assumed she was doing inappropriate things to herself. He didn't even know for sure. His only question was "I took it easy because she is pregnant. What other ways can I punish her?" That is just sickening.

I like how an intelligent person makes a claim that totally debunks all of the claims of you "pure" Christians, and your rebuttal is typically some stubborn, Neanderthal-type answer. For example "....and masturbation has been proven to have no negative effects..." That man is a DOCTOR. HE went to college for...8 years? I am going to guess that none of you have been to a REAL college for more than 3 or 4. and I don't mean a nonsensical catholic school, that just prepares you to be "pure".

I am Atheist, and have never been happier. My grandfather is a pastor, and knows I am Atheist, and he still loves me. That is because he is not a redneck, ignorant, manipulative...psycho. The way you live might be fine for you, but your kids are going to be severely messed up when it comes to the REAL world. You can't suffocate them with your overly-critical teachings for their entire lives. They are going to go out into the real world, and realize that nothing that you taught them will help them live happy lives.

Do you believe in television and movies? If so, look up ANY movie involving domestic abuse. You will see that those relationships are very unhappy, especially on the womans' side, because she is defenseless from her evil husband. Also, read the state and federal laws. You will see that domestic abuse is illegal. Now, that would sound weird wouldn't it? That shouldn't be against the law since this country was FOUNDED on Christianity right? No, you are just ignorant, mindless drones. I'm 19, and have had sex with 4 people, and I am living a happy life. It doesn't matter if I am married to them, since I cared deeply for every one of those girls. My best friend is Gay, and he is very happy. In fact, the entire country is happier without people like you trying to denounce people that don't have the EXACT same views as you. You don't respect, or care for anyone other than your own little cult, which in itself is against the bible. One of the most basic principles "love thy neighbor". I haven't been to church in 10 years and know that one. Isn't the point of Christianity to be happy? I don't think that torturing yourself and holding yourself to pointless beliefs and rules makes you very happy. I do what I want with my girlfriend, when I want to. As long as I have the basic principles of religion; respect, kindness, forgiveness; I will live a happy life but you are stubborn as mules on your beliefs. I see people like you with picket signs all over the streets trying to force your beliefs on other people, and putting other people down for things that may not even be their fault.

I joined the forum so I can say this, and I am shocked at what I have seen in your people. Even these little "smilies" on the side here... appalling. most of them involve violence and anger, which is what Jesus tried to makes everyone try to stray from. The icon that sticks out in my eye most is the one depicting three what I assume are terrorists. They get bombed and die, which I would be okay with, except that I see Arab writing behind them. That implies that all Arabs are terrorists and give a negative stereotype. Do you realize that you people are yourselves, perfect examples of stereotypes? I have said "Christian nuts" and people immediately have pictured people just like all of you. I believe in morals, but what you people have going here is a CULT.
