As for a "neighbor", here's an assignment for you. Go to biblegateway.com and look up all instances of "neighbour". Look at the context. Then tell us what "neighbour" means.

As for what is "required" to do to survive (breathe) is not the same as what is "the right thing to do".

GOD decides what is the right thing to do. He tells us in His Word what is right and what is wrong.

In theory, you would be right. But, as is clearly outlined in scripture, suicide is very, very bad. So, it's the right thing to do not to commit suicide.

That's where my logic comes from, directly from scripture.

My point EXACTLY! If you know nothing of God's Word, you might want to think twice about trying to quote it to True Christians™. For goodness sake, I wouldn't stroll into some gametard forum and start running off at the mouth about what a bunch of losers they all were (though they of course are) and make some silly misquote of a famous game designer (they must have those, right?).

As we are clearly instructed, Matthew 10:14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

and does not Jesus Himself say,

Lu:19:27: But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.

So we have authority that 'neighbours' are unlikely to be Godless heathens.

Personally however, I find the thread-starters question to be interesting. He raises a good point. Why Jesus? While I do understand and recognize why he is our savior, can one explain to a non-believer specifically why Jesus instead of say, Allah?

What Mrs Johnson said and the fact that Allah doesn’t believe Jesus is God, but he believe he (Allah) is god, which shows that Allah is completely mad. And who would worship a madman?
