I am glad you finally see the importance of our Godly Work!
What people seem to miss - time and time again - is that we are mere servants of the Bible. We have read it, and read it again, and then some more, and we know that:
- either you accept that it is written by Him, and that every word counts
- or you think it's just a bunch of stories written by grumpy old mysogenistic men, and that you should only focus on the fluffy stuff like "Love thy neighbour".
The Biblical God (), Kasja, is - we have to admit - a moody, often angry, and quite a jealous one. He killed or ordered to kill many many people, children, and animals. Sometimes the stories even make you go "what the heck?". He created all Evil*, and he punishes people who don't believe in Him in a, frankly, truly sadistic way. For eternity.
But!
Knowing that - following His word to the "T" - we will end up in Heaven, we just have learned to deal with all that.
He knows best.

I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt:
open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

It is the other Christians that give us KJV 1611 Bible-believing Christians a bad name! The world is so full of false Christians, misrepresenting the Word of Jesus Christ, making him to look like some kind of Buddhist hippie, that when we follow the Good Book through and through, we look like monsters in comparison.
We are not monsters, of course. We simply follow God's Law. However, the vast majority of Christianity has been hijacked by false prophets, so the world itself does not understand Christianity in its true sense. I know in Sweden, Lutheranism is popular there...or was, I should say...and that is a very liberal, Bible-defying cult.
I will pray for you tonight before I go to bed. I will hope that you too, will be on your knees, praying for guidance and wisdom from Our Lord Jesus Christ, as well.
Praise Sweet Jesus,
Rev. Jim Osborne
PS - Could you send me a photo of you? It would help tremendously if I could see who I am praying for. It makes the prayers more effective.

Re: Another Hateful Foreigner
It is kinda hard to interpret who is who and what the agenda is of people writing in here. I guess this site get people together for all kinds of reasons.
I would say that people living by the Bible word for word, whichever version of it - is cool by me (allthough I kinda have to put a little questionmark by the fact of anybody beeing able to do it - since there is quite a few contradictions, and very weird rules that is just not applyabe in our times... but peace with that). I also think it is ok for people to live by any belief - may it be hundu, buddhism or whatever.
The problem I have is when people start talking about "the others", and the "hethens" and the people going to hell and whatever. I just kinda think that religion should be a personal thing and you can believe whatever you want as long as you don't judge others (especially since you keep saying that is God's job!), hurt others, or try to force your faith on others, or reject or hate others because of their faith.
When it gets to that - it gets too extreme. And us, citizens of the world, must accept the fact that we will never be able to agree on everything. This is the reason for so many wars and hatred. And people like me, that actually accept the fact that other people have different faith - don't get mad for that reason - I get mad for the actions i described above.
And I think this site might be a bit on the boarderline of what is ok. I am all about discussion, and think it is better to put it out in a worldwide forum then just sitting on your own livingroom agreeing with your own peeps... but maybe this stuff is also hurtful for some.
Basiclly - why can't we all just get along?

Discord is sewn by people who just will not agree with others. The cleverer a person is, the more he should be believed. God is the cleverest Being in the universe, therefore He should be believed and obeyed.
If we do not obey Him, then we will rot in Hell, burning in darkness and pain. This is what Christianity is about.
If you drive a car, you know that you should obey all the laws about driving – speed limits, alcohol consumption, good brakes, etc. If your neighbor drives a car that has no lights and has defective steering, you have no sympathy when the police stop him – yet these false Christians think that they can disobey or ignore God’s Laws and they still believe that that is OK and wonder why they will be punished.
So you see that we can only “get on” when everyone is driving their lives as God Commanded.sigpic

.
If you are a Christian and you are for real working this forum to hand out your true beliefs I really do feel kinda sad for you... sorry! . I must kinda really bite my tounge to live after my own beliefs that people are free to think whatever they want...! which you are! but ok, if you put all your believes aside... what if you are wrong? What if God exists, but the Bible is not his work?
What if God exists, and heaven and hell exists, but none of the religious texts today is God's work?
How would God judge us then, standing by his door?
I'm just saying that if you spend your entire life putting some kind of restraint on yourself cause the Bible says so.. no drinking, no sex, no eating pig, no eating clams (why would God even say that? Why is this important? that does not make any sence?! He likes clams better than cows or what??), no this and no that... and it turnes out that he does exist, but all those stuff has no meaning at all? Just think about how much stuff you would have done differently in your life if the Bible didn't exist to tell you what to do?
I my world.. it is, from a very agnostic kind of way, more believable that if God exist - he would judge us (if he judges us) by things that would be more universal. I mean, not everybody is able to get a copy of the Good Bible, so how would that poor soul work it out then? Let's say for example that God created our conciousness, our mercy, our ability to love and cherish. And that is, most universal, the things that we are suppose to live by. When we do something wrong, we get a bad concious. When we do something right, we feel good. Very universal.
And what if God judges us on the fact that we believe or don't believe in him? Not all people get that "feeling inside" that you might have. There are people trying to get to know God, but never really get that feeling... that belief, that he exists or not. We just don't know. What are we suppose to do then? Does God like hippocrits? Would it be better for me to pretend I believe when I really don't?
Since I don't really have any feeling either way - I choose to believe that God doesn't like me to pretend anyways, if he exists. He kinda knows my thought then anyways I guess:-) And if he judges me on how good I am on following the Bible word for word, and I don't know if that is true or not - I choose to believe that the sacrifice of doing that is bigger than I would love to live (or die) with if it is not true.
Allthough, if:
There is a God
He is good
Heaven and hell exists
He created me with a conciousness to decide what to do - and thats all that matters..
Then I am all set! I am a good nice person - and then that would be enough!

Look blondie. Gods Will is His Will. You do not get to pick and choose, taking only what you like and not what you do not like. Ever heard of commitment? You drive your 'safe Volvo' but do not wear the seat belt. You are going to die. You put a halfassedhearted commitment to God, you will go and burn in hell for all damnation.
All of the people here are cutting you some slack because we thought you were trying to be a True Christian™. If all you are doing is wasting our time, then say so.Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
