Re: I am new here. Hear me out!

James Hutchins, I'm sorry you believe that about me, but I have to admit, you have certain facial features that seem to coincide with some features my brother has.

Admit it friend, some of your chromosomes were fried up in your mother's womb. Your head is shaped like an oblong watermelon. Are you a waterhead trying to walk among the righteous?
I want to be SAVED. Only the Lord Jesus Christ can look into my soul and forgive me.

Sorry to break it to you, but you can not just pull out a simple verse and call it a day.

The guy was cast out because he did not have a grament on in a wedding.

It said nothing about him being homosexual.

10So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.

11And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:

12And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless

13Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

14For many are called, but few are chosen.

        I anxiously await your reply.

I think the two of them are here trying to sway us to not ban the Special Olympics. Notice superglyde has not posted his picture but made the disgusting CHOICE to force us to gaze at his retarded brother. I bet he is hiding something even more sinister. (Perhaps a cleft palate.)

This is not appreciated at LOB!

My post has nothing to do with the special olympics. My post had to do with Myron's comment.

Infact, if you want to try to ban it go right ahead. That is your decision and right.

You did not answer my question.

Where does it say he is a homosexual in your quote?

I could sit here all day and drop edited random bible versus to suport or sway a cause.

If you are going to convince anyone you need to provide proof and back up your claims.

                    Easy there friend.

Proof reading escaped you this round I guess?

Why art though claiming to be so holy and mighty?

Myrons first post said he was going to hell for being a homosexual and his brother being retarded. Myron then dropped an edited bible verse. I called him on it with the story behind it and asked Myron to provide proof.

You are taking the original poster at face value and not looking deeper if the original poster is posting legitimate posts.

Baptist for the Win, you must think you are so high and mighty challenging Myron's quotes. Psalm 10:4 “In his pride the wicked does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God.” This Glider fellow must be telling the truth if Pastor Zeke allows him to post here without being banned. That does not negate the fact that he has layed with another man (even if it were against his onwn will) and he will have to pay for his sins. Corinthians 6:9 "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived, Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God"

I found this to be interesting...

But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: Luke 6:35-37

For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:45,15

To answer your question. I never claimed to be high and mighty. I was just expanding upon Myrons quote to reflect the whole story he quoted and to call into question his accusation

                        One for the books..

Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. Colossians 3:13

You are the one looking like a fool. This is a parable. And the "wedding garment" is a metaphor for being saved by Christ. So, Myron is indeed right in using the quote. Because the man was not Saved(c) (and a homosexual would apply to this), he would be sent to Hell.

Myron did not take this quote out of context. You did.

We at Landover do love our enemies: This is why we try to save them by having them accept Jesus Christ as their savior. If I really didn't care about my enemies, I wouldn't be trying to save them from Hell, would I? Love isn't all about "giving hugs" and "tolerance". It's sometimes about tough love, about making hard decisions for the better of people, telling them things they need to hear even if they don't want to hear it.

Re: I am new here. Hear me out!

A lot of words in the OP but it boils down to

Psalm 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

                              and

Psalm 119:1 ALEPH. Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
Psalm 119:2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
Psalm 119:3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.

And that’s even before we reach the NT:

                              Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
                              Colossians 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

I’d look on this as you probably are not Saved™ as you sought Salvation™ not through Landover, but either through yourself (difficult without guidance) or some Social Gathering calling itself a church.

Mind you, MidwestCatLady is right – you seem to have fallen out of an ugly tree; it could be God’s curse for something your parents did.

Myron did not take this quote out of context. You did.

Is there really a need to resort to name calling? Could we not resort to witful and thoughtful rebuttals?

I enjoy a good and well thought out argument. I feel you have the capability of this.

Lets leave the name calling out and have a decent discussion.
