    Re: Hi from England

There is a lot of really unusual punctuation in this thread (the above posts, especially). Must be part of the British invasion.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

All edible. You have no bears, wolves or mountain lion? We can supply these examples of God's bounty and Creation for breeding and sporting purposes, if you want.

Ge:1:26: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

I think this person is trolling us. There is no hunting in England because a) hunting is illegal there and b) all guns are banned. Even the police are disarmed and have to defend themselves with billy clubs! So, I truly doubt this person is for real.

That's a pity, the Grizzlies are breeding out of control and there's a special offer of $7,500 per unit plus shipping or $3 a pound dressed.

handguns are band, rifles are licenced, air rifles are licenced after a certain power rating.

hunting with guns is not baned, hunting with dogs and horses is banned.

we have armed response police, not all police are armed.

I can assure you all guns are not banned. Yes, we have stricter legislation than you do, (sadly), however, it is possible to legally own guns and it is also legal to hunt over here.
As for the police, not all officers are armed, but we do have armed response units over this side of the pond.

I can assure you that foxes are not edible! Crows aren't too nice either.

That may be a record, the same word spelled wrong TWICE in the same post AND spelled correctly as well. Way to go!

Also, hunting dogs and horses sounds a little too easy if you ask me. They're domesticated for goodness sake! Making hunting them illegal seems like the first thing they've gotten right over lately!

As you're a hunter, perhaps you can explain this verse to me. It always sounded to me that they were looking for fish in holes in the rock - do you have that in Europe?

Jer:16:16: Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the LORD, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.

Isn't it nice to know that Bambi's mother is in a nice, warm home. She's surrounded by loving family, with a burning fireplace, above their mantel?

Hunting over here in the states is great. If you have a nice deer stand, and a few good rifles full of ammo, you can hunt for weeks if you know how to ration your rounds out. Plus deer jerky is great. England has it all wrong when it comes to hunting. We need dogs trained to help on the hunt, have you never senn Fox and the Hound.
