Hi, I thought I might try this out. I used to be very religious, but fell out of the habit of attending church when I turned about 17 and had issues with the other people in my youth group.

What is your favorite verse form the Bible, KJV 1611 of course .
Can your share your testimony of Jesus with us?

Re: Hi
I attended a Pentecostal church, mostly because they seemed to be more focused on actually coming to church for God, and not just for social status.

Re: Hi
I hope you have seen the error in your ways, your best bet would be to find a Baptist Church, after all your soul is at stake.Originally posted by LoveisUniversal View PostI attended a Pentecostal church, mostly because they seemed to be more focused on actually coming to church for God, and not just for social status.

Where do you live, do you have your fathers permission to be on the internets?

You say you left the church when you were 17, how old are you now? Are you a man or woman? How many Soldiers for Christ(c) do you have? I hope you still read the Bible.Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I'm 20 now, and I'm a woman. I do not have my father's permission, but he would not mind nor do I live with him. I do read the bible and I live on my college campusGalatians 6:7-8 "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Re: Hi
I have always wanted to go to college so I could rise above the mistakes of my family. I won't go into it, but I know this is the best choice for me to better myself. I'm studying to be an English teacher for high school, I plan on returning to my small hometown and teaching near my family so I can help my younger brother and sister more easily, and my parents as well.
I did read the post about rape, and while I mostly disagree with it being the woman's fault, I do agree that a lot of women wear provocative clothing and make stupid decisions regarding alcohol around men they don't know. I don't party, I don't wear slutty clothes, and I don't go out late at night so I feel relatively sure that I'm safe in my current situation.Galatians 6:7-8 "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life."

Re: Hi
Are you ugly? Are you weak in your faith? There has to be some reason why the best choice for you to better yourself isn't finding a good, decent, True Christian(tm) man to marry and lift you out of the gutter of potential feminazism. Look at me! I used to be a mere Gold Tither, but thanks to my husband, Mr. Whitford, I'm now a Platinum Tither sitting in the plush pews!Originally posted by LoveisUniversal View PostI have always wanted to go to college so I could rise above the mistakes of my family. 1 Timothy 2:13-15 For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.Bearing my husband's heirs and being SAVED!

Re: Hi
I can't imagine having to marry the man who violated me, having been molested as a child. It is such a sick perversion that is incredibly detrimental and ...just horrible. I would never wish that on another woman and subject her to that cruelty. I understand that the verse says they should marry, but I've heard others interpret the same verse as reference to consensual premarital sexOriginally posted by Gabriel Reproba View PostHow do you feel about what God tells us should happen in cases of rape as dictated in Deut. 22? Re: Hi
I am not ugly, which I think is a rude question to ask. I am not weak in my faith either. I don't know any of the "good, decent, true christian" men to marry, nor do I wish to marry at this time. I feel that I am too young. My parents married too young, with me at a year old at the time, and now are completely different people, divorced, and unhappy. I am here to give myself financial security, a chance to be happy, and a way to escape the poverty and addictions that afflict my family.Originally posted by Sister Mary Maria View PostAre you ugly? I'm happy for you and your husbands happiness, but I have not found my man yet and am not willing to jump to conclusions and marry the first "Christian" man I meet, because a lot of people are very good pretenders and are usually not who they initially seem to be. And if I were to make a mistake and tie myself to someone who then revealed their true colors, I would be tied to them indefinitely because one of my goals in life is to never have to resort to divorce.Galatians 6:7-8 "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life."

Are we even capable of interpreting the word of GOD, He is infallible. After reading the Bible cover to cover many many times, I have yet to find any phrase that says so what do you think God meant!

Re: Hi
So far, so good. If you live in a cesspool like Joo York or Sin Francisco, finding an unmarried True Christian(tm) man would be like tripping over a gold bar. Unlikely to happen. You need to get yourself somewhere decent where you can meet a good man you can be properly subservient to!Originally posted by LoveisUniversal View PostI am not ugly, which I think is a rude question to ask. Here is where I'm getting wary. Are you sure you're a Christian and not a feminazi bulldyke? I pray you're not, but we've had them come here before claiming to be "saved"! One can never be too careful.nor do I wish to marry at this time. I feel that I am too young.
My parents are Mary-worshipping papists doomed for Hell. That doesn't stop me from doing the right thing. My parents married too young,
Oh.with me at a year old at the time,
I can't get past this, I'm sorry. You were a born a bastard child? I'm so sorry to hear that! It's a terrible curse to bear, and to think it will passed on to your children and their children!
