Our country is great because 4 of 10 kids can read another language. Half of them are from Mexico. 80% of kids know that Sudan is in Africa. I'm not surprised that people think India is Muslim; there are over 200 million of them over there, that's closer to the population of the U.S.A. than it is to the population of Egypt. Why would you want to go to New York?

How is being able to locate countries on a map an essential skill. Have the U.S. troops been accidentally sent to another country? No. Thus, Americans are well-capable to locate Iraq and send hundreds of thousands of troops there.

They don't need to because all the foreign kids in foreign countries are being taught American. It would be like learning Swahili. Why waste time learning something you won't use. Please do not blame us for being efficient.

Again, please explain why geographical knowledge is an essential skill. There are almost 200 countries. Are YOU willing to do a geography test to show how "stupid" you are? We simply don't need to know where every third-world country is.

There's no effective difference between muslims hindoos or atheists: all go to Hell. Why bother with the details? They know that the majority is NOT Christian and that's what matters.

And again you use geographical knowledge as an intelligence test. Look at IQ tests: you find a lot of numerical sequences, logic, funny pictures and so on... not geography.
