To most "Christians" The Bible is like a license agreement. They just scroll to the bottom and click "I agree". All those "Christians" will burn in Hell! James 2:10 "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."
Back when I first accepted Jesus as my Personal Lord and Savior, there were some young sisters in the Lord who told someone that I was weird. At the time I thought it was somewhat un-Christian. But if the Lord saw fit to lay upon you the burden to select this special little symbol as part of your mission to exhort me towards a deeper understanding of my place at His table, well who should I thank first? (I mean, first after God, of course.) You, my long ago sisters in Christ or the maker of the emoticon?
Indecisively Yours,
Handmaiden
His left hand should be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me.
Now I see what COM means about your problems with indecision. Can't you just thank everyone and get on with it?
Oh, I do thank you. But I do not quite grasp your intent when you suggest that I "get on with it". Do you mean that I should cease with my unending gratitude towards The Lord, LBC and Brothers like you? Or that I should just go and do something dirty and physically impossible to myself and leave this forum forever? Because if I am not fit to serve as any kind of vessel ( we know I am not wife material )to this godly community, then I will leave lest I be a stumbling block for others.
So you ,Brother King and Brother Man, both of whom I have learned to like and admire but not quite fathom, please tell me what I should do. If it is anatomically possible, (I don't really think that I could get my head betwixt my buttocks) and pleasing to the Lord, I will make a firm effort to do it.
Kindly Yours,
Handmaiden

Reason: Relentless pursuit for perfect grammar

You should be silent and start spending as much time as possible on Bible study.
1 Timothy 2:11-12 "Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence."
2nd Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness"

Oh, good Christian sir, I do try but my afflictions are many . I badger because I do not yet clearly know my place. Is it elsewhere than this forum? Should I refrain from posting altogether? Or should I only post in sessions with other women?
May I read the postings of this holy place? Or would the Lord find that displeasing because even though I concur that The Words of the Holy Bible are the literal Truth of God and each ordinance within must be obeyed without hesitation or alteration whatsoever, I do not have my KJV directly in my hands and if I did I would have to hold it with both hands and then the only indication of my presence here would be the sound of pages turning? And when I am learning in silence how can I ask questions and receive instruction If I must be in silence? Even this post is problamatic as you have properly exhorted me to keep silent and yet I do not know how to mime in a written, electronic formatt.
Beseechingly Yours,
Handmaiden

Reason: Duplicate quotes. I only like to repeat myself.

I don't know. Anything is possible through God. He did give Sarah a child even though she was old.
Genesis 18 10And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him. 11Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. 12Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also? 13And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? 14Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. 15Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.

Stop kicking against the pricks and study the Word of God.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Woman, all you've done since you showed up was go on and on about your intelligence and a long spew about your eggs
If you are looking for some sort of kinky discipline there are other places on the 'net for that. If you're here to learn about Jesus then take a back seat and learn.
My wife was 35, and still a virgin when we married. She may be unruly and may have an unbridled tongue on her, but she is nothing like you. At least she tries to be a positive mother for our sons and a good help-meet towards me. Sometimes, when I've been on the road too long, she starts to get uppity, but at least she will return to her proper position with a couple of reprimands.
But with you, it's like you are enjoying being reprimanded, like you're getting off on it some how. You claim forgiveness every time one of the Brothers reprimand you, but then you're off to another thread showing off your education or some other annoying habit. Well tell me missy, does that education help you bake a cake? Did it help you birth a son? Does it help you clean house? If not, then what use is it, and why do you keep harping about it?
Perhaps you should go study Proverbs, very deeply.
2:16 To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words; 17 Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God. 18 For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead. 19 None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life.
5:3 For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:, 4 But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword. 5 Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell. 6 Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them.7 Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth. 8 Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house:
11:22 As a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion.
21:9 It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house.
21:19 It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman.
22:14 The mouth of strange women is a deep pit: he that is abhorred of the LORD shall fall therein.
23:27 For a whore is a deep ditch; and a strange woman is a narrow pit. 28 She also lieth in wait as for a prey, and increaseth the transgressors among men. :29 Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes? 30 They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine. 31 Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright. 32 At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder.33 Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things.
25:24 It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman and in a wide house.
27:15 A continual dropping in a very rainy day and a contentious woman are alike.
30:20 Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness.. 21 For three things the earth is disquieted, and for four which it cannot bear: 22 For a servant when he reigneth; and a fool when he is filled with meat; 23 For an odious woman when she is married; and an handmaid that is heir to her mistress.
