Dear Sister Wintersnow I am sorry if I have bought up a subject that found offensive, please accept my most sincere apology.

I shall flagellate for an extra 5 minutes after evening prayers tonight.

Sister Wintersnow here is a recipe for mountain oysters you will enjoy them. The Lord does truly move in mysterious ways and provides for his loving children.

    Mountain Oysters
Mountain Oysters, also known as prairie oysters, are that part of the male animal which is removed in his youth that he may thereby be more tractable and less, uh, masculine. They are considered to be quite a delicacy. Some butcher shops sell bull testicles. These are good but the best source is from young animals. The preparation of mountain oysters is quite simple:
    Ingredients

    mountain oysters
    flour
    salt
    pepper
    paprika
    garlic
    cayenne

    Preparation

Season the flour with the salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, and cayenne.

If the mountain oysters are large, cut them into bite sized chunks.

Dust the mountain oysters in the flour and saute in a pan of hot oil or deep fry. They should be tender on the inside and crisp on the outside.

Serve with horseradish sauce or cocktail sauce

Very true, as I said, I like to look my dinner in the eye. Of course you are correct that it should be well hung.

Hello Winter Snow - Have you been to / resided in the great state of Victoria....I note you reference to "Safeway" - I believe that the Safeway brand is only in Victoria hence my curiosity

In relation to the "Homer beef" all Australian outlets / supermarkets are regularly submitted to random pathology sampling / testing of all meat.

This is to keep the quality high and the meat free of the Homosexual gene. Likewise all meat producers stock is subjected to same regime

Your talking to someone who grew up with 300 head in their back yard.

I used to pick out a steer I turned into a 'pet' every calving season. Of course with names like T-Bone I knew exactly where they were going. and I never saw my steers humping each other.
