StClem

Winter Snow is most proably one of the most learned on the site.
She seems to be a woman with vision and zest far beyond many of her peers in here (both male & female!!)

As she resides in Australia God (and possibly Sam Keckovich) will smile upon her with special reverance.

My sincere apologies Mr dot King. I take it you are comfortable with being called Mr Nob King too.

I feel a bit awkward with your suggestion until we "know" each other, Nobbo (eeeeeer, sorry, Mr. King), for I read in the Scriptures that "Abraham 'knew' his wife, Sarah and behold she conceived and bore him a son and they called him Isaac."

I have been reluctant to "know" anybody ever since I read that.

Erm.... It is the KJV as in King JAMES!! I also have to correct you. ANY Baptist Church worth their salt only takes and uses The Word of the KJV1611! I used it in my study at Morling College and it was an intrinsic part of our teachings to follow that to the letter!!

I somehow think Mr Clem, you are here with the sole purpose to mock us!

    Good day to you sir,

    Yes, I said Good DAY!

    YIC,

    WS.
Gday wintersnow, you seem to have some knowledge of the ways of the Tasmanians. I think they found no mention of incest in the Bible and therefore assumed it was alright but I am not sure about that.

No, unfortunately my wife has not been saved so she still enjoys smoking and drinking which I believe does not comply with Scriptural instructions regarding "keeping holt the temple of God". I trust she will be saved before it is too late.

I think I have heard of Morling College, it is in Sydney or Adelaide, ws?

I am sorry for confusing King JAMES with King JOHN. James was, I think, the "son of Zebadee" but I don't know who Zebadee is.

Mockery, my dear wintersnow, is not within my nature. I think when our Lord said, "Greater things than these shall ye do," he was not speaking of mockery but rather miracles and tongues. Do you speak in tongues, wintersun?

I feel most of my offspring is not saved sadly, I continue to pray for them.

I am a Baptist, wintersnow. Most Ozzie Baptists don't use the King John Bible these days. I might see if I can get a second-hand one from an Op Shop. (Not that I'm broke, ws, but I prefer to spend serious dollars on my Harley Davidson).

Gday Nobar, it is indeed good to share your company.

I am sorry to have missed your mission to Australia. I hope you had some good success.

Like your good self, Nob King, I like also to praise Jesus. I am confused, though with the bit where he sent a flock of pigs to drown in the sea. I have never had any time for cruelty to animals. (I can't remember where in the New Testament this matter is recorded and I have given my Bible to my grandchildren), but you may be able to find it for me please/tar.

Gday Swish Davidson, it is good to know Australia leads the way with matters Christian.

I shall look in the local newsagency for a copy of the 'GodGetter Militia Magazine', I hadn't heard of that one before.

I look forward to meeting Destiny.

I see you have already met Charli (She is quite a free spirited Australian Christian lass I think you will find) and I hope you enjoy your stay.

I hope to soon introduce my ex partner Destiny to the site which will mean that us Australian believers will be well represented. ( BTW I recently read in the latest GodGetter Militia Magazine that Christians in Australia are rated as the most dedicated, Godly and revered in the World - As a newby I am learning fast)

You seem to be a "light hearted" Christian which is what this place needs as sometimes the folk here are a little tense

    Regards, Swish Davidson

Gday HTannor, thank you for your welcome (oops, just realised you didn't welcome me at all, sorry).

The shape of a football is inconsequential but, with great respect, I feel anybody who covers themselves in all-over body armour to kick and chuck a ball around, is not playing any kind of football. Proper footballers are tuff and don't cry when they bruise or bleed.

A piece from the Bible: "The Lord made stars and behold they were very good."

Gday Charli, very pleased to see another Ozzie and specially a harley-riding one.

I didn't lose my virginity on a Harley, actually I lost it in a Volkswagen Beetle. I was finding, Charli, that in the battle between the flesh and the spirit, the flesh mostly won. I asked God to forgive me for this and I think he did.

Yes, you may well be "burned with fire", Charli, it is an awful thing to contemplate but who are we to argue with Almighty God?

I can't write a quote from the Bible at the mo because I gave it to my grandchildren, so I'll just mention "Jesus wept" which is pretty sad. Someone might tell me where that is please/tar.

Apparently I did and never knew about it. *sigh*

Sadly I may now have to be burned with fire as per the bible teachings.

    Leviticus 21:9

And the daughter of any priest, if she profanes herself by whoring, profanes her father; she shall be burned with fire.
Are there any Bible verses backing that up?
I don't think so as GodGetter Magazine was / is published around 2000 years after the Bible so I would suspect that arithmatic is the key here not Bible verses

But Australian Christians are amongst the best in the world, much like our Olympic swimming team and our champion World Cup Cricket Team.

I would like to see our Christian ladies become the best pie makers in the world...........can't be far off though

I'd like to think that it was true, though I'm not convinced. Are there any Bible verses backing that up? If it is true, it's probably because we're trying to compensate for having been born in a land of Godless atheists and homersexuals and for having a cathylick as a Prime Minister.
