Thats better. All I asked was if you followed the Celtic Christianity. Just a simple yes or no question. There must not be very many people on your island, only about 200 people.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth
Proverbs 19:25 Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.
Ezekiel 16:14 And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.
Proverbs 6:25 Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.
Genesis 24:16 And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up.
Song of Solomon 1:15 Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves' eyes.

Perhaps you are suffering from a form of island madness, dear. So you studied the KJV 1611 then, at Cambridge? You know, now that you're on the internets, there are many online divinity degree thingies you could do -- probably save yourself quite a bit of money too!

Thank you for accepting my apology, Yes i think there are around 160 who live on the island but we have thousands of visitors each year. Thankfully we have a causeway which can only be crossed a couple of times a day so we can have our quiet periods for pray.

I love the solitude here as it gives me time to reflect, i think the money and time spent at Cambridge was worth every penny...or cent but i may look at more learning and thank you for the advise.

There is a Lindisfarne in Tasmania Australia. It does not have many people either. That must be where you island got its name from.

You're very welcome. If you should stumble across an online Baptist university, where they study the Bible word-for-word, i.e., as the literal Word of GOD, then do sign up! In the meantime, there are plenty of learned Men of God on this very forum who will be more than happy to give you a taste of the Baptist University Experience.

Yes i had noticed that, but that is only a suburb that was named after Lindisfarne House which was built in the 1820s. I'm afraid their history doesn't go back anywhere near as far as ours.

I would hate to correct you but that is not right. There are many places named in Great Britain after Australian locations.

I think you have been tricked by people telling you lies. Tasmania has fisheries also. They also catch other seafood also. They caught a giant deep sea octopus last year.

I suspect you may feel upset that your island is named after a place in former British colony. I know how you English people like to have your pride.

Ahh pride yes, i suppose it is possible for history to become mixed up over thousands of years, i mean how old is your country really and have we been tricked in believing that the native Indians were there before the white settlers.

I think it may need more research on my behalf but alas i have missed the low tide today but tomorrow i shall cross to the mainland library and carry out some research, i will carry out some research online but sites like wikepedia and the like are not to be trusted. If it does turn out to be true then you do realise that you have changed the beliefs and history of the British isles and that someone from our government will have to contact you to find out the source of you little known information.

Why would you have any doubt what a True Christian would say. As you know atheists and pagans are known for making up lies.

I trust you and i have not denied what you say is true, but for my own frame of mind ( after all this could be a life changing event for the whole of the world) i will seek advise form the mainland abbey and have already made a call to one of my contacts at the Houses of Parliament telling him of this news. His reply to me was very worrying though as it appears that this whole forum and indeed The Landover Baptist Church is entirely made up and as i type it is being investigated both in the UK and USA for being a front for a Muslim take over. I was warned not to be a part of this as i could end up in serious trouble in this country, i cant believe this though and will seek more proof.
