I am going to begin by saying, I am disgusted by the behavior I have witnessed whilst lurking for 5 minutes! I am saddened by the fact that everyone here claims to be a straight and true Christian.
For my entire relatively short life, I have followed the word of Jesus Christ. Where I was unsure of the way, I asked God for help. I am 15-years-old, and yet I have more common sense and goodwill towards others than a majority of the people on this forum.
The way you people treat worshipers of other religions and homosexuals is appalling. I can not and refuse to believe that you people and I follow the same word of Jesus Christ.
Don't you people see how misguided you are? Jesus preached kindness and good will towards all men, of all colors, religions, and even homosexuals. The Bible was written by human beings, and while inspired by God, many passages were changed, added, or removed to fit the current status quo. Hate gays? Why not add a passage about God saying homosexuality is wrong and claim that as the word of God. No being that claims to be all-loving would condemn a group of people for their sexual orientation.
First of all, how is homosexuality a sin? Back it up. You can not say to me, 'Because God says so,' because if that is true, then God is not all-knowing and he is a bigot who decides things based on a whim. I refuse to believe that my creator dislikes a group of people merely based on something as small as sexual preference.
For now, as you have seen, I have been referring to you as, 'you people,' and the like. That is because I do not see you as my brothers and sisters. I see you as bigots and hypocrites. And keep in mind, I am directing this towards only those that I have seen acting with such a mentality under the name of Christianity that I have been made sick to my stomach.
I wouldn't be surprised if half of the people on here were trolls looking to stir up controversy for Christianity.
tl;dr: God loves all and you are hypocritical in hating people and acting in such disgusting ways.

I too at such a tender age as yours, had high-falootin' ideas as to what Jesus WANTED from us, but that too came from a place of not knowing or understanding God's Word; even on a base level. Sure, I was a Miss "Keen-Beanz" too with a sense of fluffy "good will" towards all others, but I was going by my own interpretation of what God wants of us, rather than by understanding fully what he COMMANDS of us. The two are not the same. Certainly, God is about love, but he is also about respecting HIM. That means of course, we cannot go off on our own merry way with a pocket full of dreams hoping to change the world on our own terms. God is the ONLY ONE who can change the world and the only way that will happen is by following His laws and requests to the letter, as written in the KJV1611.
