Mr. Dewitt, it seems as if you are being very argumentative and confrontational. If that is not the case I apologize for the misconception. I'm just trying to get a feel for exactly what it is that is going on here. I myself am not a very religious person, I went to a private baptist school most of my life. I believe that Science and religion should act hand-in-hand as opposed to against one another.

I am not confrontational, I just do not beat around the bush. Why not be straight forward and make your statement. God does not beat around the bush now does He? The best thing you can do is say what you mean, ans mean what you say.

Science is a liberal agenda and mostly unproven theories, not unlike the The Truth found in the KJV1611 - I suggest you read it.

If we seem confrontational it's because our forum is inundated with legions of trolls mocking us and God (and questioning the validity of our Church - which is very real friend). Look, we are True Christians not the fluffy bunny types who *think* they are real Christians (they are not). We come here to praise Jesus and share the love. It's not a forum of debate, it is a forum of worship.

That's a stupid argument. Of course the sky is blue, everybody with open eyes can see that, just as everybody with open eyes can see that the earth is flat.

If it were round, then it would roll around and everyone on it would be squashed.

If it were round, the water would slide right off of it, whereas since it is flat, the water can form a miniscus around the edge.

If it were round the people on the sides and bottom would fall off. In fact, only the people on the North Pole would be able to stand straight up.

But those are merely secular reasons. In and of themselves, they, like a round Earth, hold no water.

The real reason you should believe the Earth is flat is because God said so, in the Bible:

What about gravity, inertia, centrifugal force? People on the North pole Couldn't stand up either, the either is tilted on it's axis. So, if the world was really flat, I could walk in the same direction for however long and I wouldn't end up in the same spot eventually? I would just fall off the edge of the earth?

People on the North pole Couldn't stand up either, the either is tilted on it's axis. So, if the world was really flat, I could walk in the same direction for however long and I wouldn't end up in the same spot eventually? I would just fall off the edge of the earth?

Of course you would. But God is a nice guy, so he made sure the edge of Earth is entirely frozen, it's also called Antarctica, to prevent people from falling off by accident.
