Hello! I am so very happy to find a community wherein I can learn about Jesus and share my love for him! The Bible is the most perfect book known to man. I can't believe anyone would dispute this. I mean, it's God's word! It says itself in the book that it's God's word, so we know it is! Why would anyone question a 2000 year old book? Sounds crazy to me!

I became saved last year when I realized that I needed to start taking my salvation seriously. I know God will send me to hell if I don't. Kind of like how when I was little my abusive dad threatened to beat me up if I didn't obey his orders, rub his feet, feed him grapes, etc! That was a terrible experience, and I don't want to go through it again! I want to sit with Jesus for eternity, no matter how bored I get! It's worth it! I don't want to endure an infinite punishment for my finite sins!

Welcome, my Christian friend. I wish that everybody would come to the same realization as you and take Salvation seriously. I mean not only will those who don't burn in hell for eternity.

Revelation 20:14-15
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

They will also get their faces covered in feces:

Malachi 2:2-3
If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it.

Do you really think it will be boring in heaven? There aren't many clues in the Bible. I once wondered the same thing before I was Saved. I thought it was a choice between spending eternity with the best musicians and comedians and writers (that would be in hell..), or with the Ozzie and Harriet family (look it up). You can't get married in heaven, so there's no more sex; and there are no pets.

But that was my old selfish unsaved trash speaking. What could be better than spending every single moment forever...and ever.... praising Jesus?

Boring? I think not!

You're absolutely right. It's God's Word, and since God is all-knowing and all-powerful, He could change the Bible if it didn't say what He wanted it to say. I don't know why so many people call themselves Christian, yet ignore this basic truth.

The only way to believe the Bible is false is to believe:

God isn't able to change the Bible, so is not much of a god; or

God doesn't care what the Bible says, so is not loving; or

God intentionally confuses us with a "wrong" Bible so we may be damned, so is evil; or

God doesn't exist.

When false Christian God-mockers attack the Bible and say it's not true, or "metaphorical", or "self-contradictory", ask them which of those options they believe! Then watch the backpedaling . . .

What a wonderful testimony! Yes, God does give you His Unconditional Love, as long as you do exactly what He says to do at all times. Just like your father, only without the foot fetish!

I imagine Heaven will be very exciting. No doubt every now and then, maybe every few hundred years, someone will decide he or she is bored and doesn't want to keep praising the Lord. Then imagine the wailing and gnashing of teeth as that person is caught up by the angels, kicking and screaming and begging for mercy, and hurled into the Lake of Fire for all the rest of eternity as the rest of us watch!

After all, while Hell is like the Roach Motel -- they check in, but they don't check out -- the Bible in no place indicates that the Gates of Heaven are one-way. Satan was cast out for rebelling, no reason people won't be.
