Im new (of course).

Firstly, im wondering why the introduction email i recieved "tm'd" the term True Christian...how can you possibly trademark that?

Personality: Im just the type of person who enjoys religious discussion and am open to all arguements. fairly laid back too.

Hopefully i'll enjoy this site ay.

Welcome friend.

About the trademark, well, it helps having enough money and friends in high places. It especially helps if you are friends with Him who is in the Highest Place. We are God's favorite church after all.

I guess that false Christians could trademark their title too, but for some reason they have never bothered.

So... tell us a bit more about yourself. Do you accept the Baby Jesus as your personal saviour?

PS: about that last "ay". You are not a pirate, are you?

Hmm...I wouldnt say just a singular church would be the only ones saved...sounds a little biased...especially with the new covenant allowing you to go to heaven if you believe in the Son of Man, the lord Jesus. (the only way to heaven i may add)

I wouldnt say that 'baby jesus' would be my saviour. after all was it not when John the Baptist baptised Jesus that the holy spirit fell down upon him, was it also not when he was a man that he took all the worlds sins upon himself and ascended to the heavens.

Friend, that would be like saying Christians are biased because they don't like that Allah fella too much.

Of course we are biased: we are the ONLY church in the world to take the Holy Bible literally. Chapter by chapter. Verse by verse. Word by word. We don't try to "explain away" or "interpret". God's word is not a crossword puzzle (pun not intended Lord) or a Stig Larsson thriller.

Yes, he did fulfill prophecies. I find your argument mistaken, the reason Jesus was brougth down by the Lord was to create a new holy covenant with the earth so that all could have the choice of being saved. Previous to this you had to be of Jewish heritage and follow Jewish law. This enacting of this new covenant allowed all to be saved, not just the Jews.

Is it not obvious that mass murderers can turn to Christ on their deathbeds. Just look at the two criminals next to Jesus on the cross:

Luke 23: 30-50
39One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: "Aren't you the Christ? Save yourself and us!"

40But the other criminal rebuked him. "Don't you fear God," he said, "since you are under the same sentence? 41We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong."
42Then he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.[c]" 43Jesus answered him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise."

One of these criminals followed Jesus to heaven, on his deathbed.

Of course any heathen, at any time can turn to Jesus. But Jesus does not accept these last minute repenters, you know that perfectly well. God sees these people as schemers and cheats, that not faced with imminent dire consequences, would not be offering their complete being to Him. So these fools can last minute repent all they want. God will be booting them in the posterior to hell to spend an an eternity of being viciously reamed in the rectum by the Devil. Baby Jesus gets the last laugh!

Does this passage not just contradict what you yourself has just said? Jesus himself said to a just repentant criminal that he would in Heaven with him. As long as at any time you give your mind/heart/soul to the Lord you shall be saved. Though this does not by any means mean that it is ok to kill/steal/cheat...

If the Lord has given us an active brain why not use it. To switch-off our brains is not the way to use a gift that has been given to us.

No thats not how it works. The brain is for earning money, for Hunting and for the war against terrorists or other religions. But your normal life beside that should be full of love to God and nothing else.

That's a terrible introduction. Please be civil and tell us about yourself, and why you hate Jesus. What's your name? How old are you? Why are you here?
