I'm sorry, but you seem to have a false idea of Catholicism. Catholics don't worship Mary, we ask her to pray for us, much like if I asked my own mother or a dear friend to pray for me. It's the same idea with the Popes and the saints.

To Mr. Dewitt: I understand where you might have that misconception, but we do not pray to Mary, we simply ask her to pray for us. It's the same as asking your neighbors to pray for you in the "Prayer Requests" forum. There are also many Catholics who pray directly to Jesus, but some just want a little more help in their time of need.

To Mr. Jenkins: I do not condone pedophilia, but I do understand that there are some very disturbed people in the Church that need serious help, and I pray every single day that they find that help.
