Hello, I was raised by a mildly religouse mother and a highly secular but still spiritual father. Therefor I was taught from childhood to not take things (especially religious texts ). I was still however educated in the bible which I have read multiple times along with other religous texts such as the Koran, Hindu Vedas , Sufi Tales and books on irreligon . I personally put much thought into my religouse beliefs and am firmly a materialist. I also belive that because of the fallibility of human perception a religous stance is nearly imposible to PROVE but choose to be an Atheist because I find it in conjunction with materialism and nihilism a far more satisfying beleif system. I see most religouse behavior not as physical observation but a mass societal psychosis to explain what was previousley unexplainable. The universe is here and thats it.

My favorite Bible Verse from by favorite book of the bible is

Man's fate is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath ; man has no advantage over the animal. Everything is meaningless. All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return.

Welcome to the forum, lost child. My heart rejoices that Jesus has brought you here. It is clear you have strayed from the warm glow of His radiant glory and are in clear danger of spending eternity in the lake of fire, subject to unfathomable torment and unending anguish.

For starters, it is not fitting for you to spend time reading the satanic teachings and false doctrines of the evil cults you mentioned.

Secondly, it is clear that you have not received the Good News because you are reading from a false translation of the Bible. God has preserved His Word, uncorrupted, in the King James Authorized Version of 1611. All other versions and translations are work of the prince of lies, designed to deceive even Christ's very elect!

What is wrong with the teachings of Bhuddists, Hindus or MUslims?
Muslims worship the God of Abraham the same as Judeo-Christianity
Hindus I can see your religous objection as they are polytheist which you condem (which I dont agree with btw).
But whats wrong with Bhuddists ? Their beleif is INCREDIBLY open . It allows for Bhuddist to accept and worship Jesus. My grandfather was one and it is less of a religon in its own right and more of a phillosophy to be used in conjunction with other belief systems.
But non of them are "cults" and what makes Christianity any more correct than their teachings (Many of which coincide with each other)
Additionally my reading them them doesnt make we adhere to them , Just as my reading the Bible doesnt make me a Christian

Worshiping the One True God incorrectly is just as bad as not worshiping Him at all. A pile of uncooked flour, eggs, sugar, butter, and berries is not a pie. They may be made into a pie if YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS to the letter, just as a person can be made into a True Christian™ if they follow the KJV 1611 Bible TO THE LETTER.

Buddism is a religion for idiots. I was on holidays in India and we were led into a temple full of rats, one of that creatures attacked me because i was near her milk-bowl. They don't kill them because they worship em. I left the country knowing that all of that rat-worshippers go to hell.
