If this were true, why do you ignore Matthew 16:13-20? or John 20:21-23? or John 6:22-65? or 1 Corinthians 10:14-22? These are a just a few common examples of selective reading by Protestants like yourselves. Don't pretend to care about the Bible if you can so easily ignore these verses.

14 Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

That there is 1 Corinthians 10:14.

Only a computer could do that, but we are better than computers. And the fact that there are 20,000+ interpretations shows that while your thoughts on this might be ideal, they are not realistic. Not to mention that this "church's" interpretations didn't exist for the first 1,600 years of Christianity. And if you are going to take the Bible at face value why are you not killing sodomites and adulterers on a daily basis?

We are Baptists, not Lutherans. The Baptist Church was already in existence when Jesus came into being. It was founded by John the Baptist (the first Christian) to prepare the world for the coming (and now the second coming) of Christ whereas Catholicism is just a heretical faith founded by Simon Magus after losing his "magic duel" against Apostle Peter's Godly miracles.

You don't need to be a genius to see how Catholicism is just a hybrid of various Christian ideas and Roman paganism. Enjoy hell, heathen.

Wow, Papists can be seriously deluded. You're probably even following the wrong version of the 10 Commandments... I hope you do realize that the version the Catholics preach was invalidated when the Israelites angered God by dancing around a molten golden idol... and GOD gave them the currently valid set of the 10 commandments (Exodus 34:17–28), starting with the first and most important:

"Thou shalt make thee no molten gods."

Which part of the first commandment do you Papists not understand? What is there to "interpret"?

Looking up passages of scripture suggested by catholics is pretty much a waste of time - they're too dogmatised to accept what the Bible actually says and dialogue is impossible. The false Douay-Rheims travesty they have produced is very much a post hoc adventure in doublespeak, SUCH AS THIS:

Our bias is not personal, it is simply and divinely inspired; everything within the pages of KJV1611 is true (unless stated to be a parable, in which case, the message is true.)

Your mary worship is disgusting; you bow before graven images, you ask for intercession when man may speak freely and directly to God. Think how God must feel with His Vessel for Christ constantly nagging at Him when genuine True Christians are making direct contact.

And don't get me started about transubstantiation!
