    queerboy's plea for help

I'm sixteen and gay, and I want to follow god, I tried an ex-gay program and it didn't work and I was talking to my father about it, who is also christian.
He said that since the program didn't work he will castrate me, and I want to know if I should go along with this?
He's never done anything this extreme before, but I think he will now, under the circumstances.
Please post some advice, thank you.

Before resorting to castration, maybe you would do well to try another ex-gay program and also look into "chemical castration". Basically, they can make you uninterested in sex.

Usually, homosexuality is a phase that you can get out of if you stop the lusting after truck drivers and day laborers for a while. It's much like when my dog gets to barking at something and won't shut up after it's long gone; if I get her to stop for just a moment, maybe by tossing her ball, she forgets all about the thing she was freaking out over.
        Bible boring? Nonsense!

You can't be a Christian if you don't know God's Word!

Alternatively, you might try and go meet girls. That usually helps.

            I go to timberline baptist.
I was kind of born into the religion, I guess. I've always accepted it as truth.
I've tried just trying not to think about and a few ex-gay programs. My dad refuses to use chemicals on me.

That's a good church, so it's not their fault that you became a fag. After all, this is from their doctrinal statement:

We believe that the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired by God, inerrant, infallible, immutable, and preserved in the King James Version for the English speaking people, and that it is the supreme and final authority of faith and practice.
Couldn't have said it better myself!

Of course, I've yet to find out whether or not they also live by this statement. Do they allow people to maintain contact with non-christians, or do they throw any non-christian out of the Church, as the Bible commands in 2 Thessalonians 3:6?

I was kind of born into the religion, I guess. I've always accepted it as truth.
If you had done that, why did you ignore Leviticus 18:22 and Leviticus 20:13?

I've tried just trying not to think about and a few ex-gay programs. My dad refuses to use chemicals on me.
That's good, God doesn't like drugs. And drugs can't cure homosexuality; only Jesus can. Maybe God has allowed you to turn queer to punish your parents for something? Have you discussed that possibility with your parents?
              Sweet Lord Jesus,
I want to pray for those who persecute me, my Lord.
Please, treat their children as you treated those of Egypt, when they upset you! (Psalm 135:8-9)
Dash their little children against the stones for their fathers iniquity! (Psalm 137:8-9)
Hit them on the cheek, and smash out their teeth! (Psalm 3:7)
Make their death and descent into Hell swift and terrible! (Psalm 55:15)
Scatter their broken bodies over the streets of their evil cities, like Benghazi, Amsterdam, Tokyo and Mecca! (Psalm 110:6)
              Praised be Your Glorious Name™.

              Amen.

There always 'accidents'. Do you live near a dairy farm?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Place your cursor on the meter and stare at it (the meter, not the mouse) and concentrate.

Your objective is to keep the needle from rising above “NORMAL”.

(I’m testing it now and the needle’s not moving, so it's calibrated OK.)

Now if it rises to EMOTIONAL, just think pure thoughts. It is unlikely that it will reach TANTRUMS, but if it does, have a cold shower.

After a week or so of doing this for about 1 hour a day, you should have sufficient control over your reprobate mind to at least appear as a normal person.

Umm... This really hasn't been much help with my original question.
My dad decided to put off castrating me and see if other things will work, but he says he won't hesitate if he thinks I'm doing wrong.

Really, though. These programs don't seem to work.
And "try just being a man"? It just seems kind of disgusting to go near a girl in.. that way.

One other quick question, though. Is it right for punishment to involve having clamps put on my foreskin? My dad has always hated that I'm uncircumcised, so I want to know if he is just doing it because of that.
