    Hello everyone!

    Good day to you all!

My name is Eric and I found this forum through another one. I started to read some of your posts and thought of them as bizarre. But as my fright was put aside, I started to find your opinions highly interesting, and therefore felt an urge to get to know you better.

I must start by saying I'm no christian. I have no faith whatsoever and I could actually consider myself a Nihilist. But please, dont get hostile, as I didnt set my foot here to argue, nor to stop you from believing. I fully respect you for your submission, as it was the reason I wanted to become a member. I also hope that you respect me for the total disbelief of any moral sentiments, any guidelines, any meaning of life.

So, I ask you, would you be interested in getting to know me? And are you interested in the possibility to understand the lack of faith?

If the mere act of having a conversation with any of my kind would somehow put you in a lower rank towards god, I apologize. I've never talked to a fundamentalist before (if I may call you that) as you are quite rare in my homeland.

Also, keep in mind that Im well educated, (not english as main language), I have great understanding for conventional christians (referring to protestants), I've read the bible a few times, and so on. So you might benefit from a conversation with me, as my thoughts differ alot from yours. ("Know your enemy"-kinda way)

    No.

2 Corinthians 6:14 "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?"

But I will pray that you find Jesus before it is too late.

    In Christ

      Re: Hello everyone!

I then back off, and apologize for this.

But yet I didnt come here to change any of you. I came here to understand you. And as reading about you is always stained with subjection, no other way than conversating with you would ever let me understand you. I plead you give me a chanse, and use this post as a last stand for this matter. If I will never understand you, I could never (if I ever would) find your Truth.

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

        It's not too late, sinner.

But as Brother Porter rightly points out we can have nothing to do with you of a friendly nature until you accept Jesus.

          Re: Hello everyone!

Welcome Eric. The only reason you could possibly be here is because you know something is missing from your life and you've realized it is The Hand of God®. Like so many young people who come here, you will deny it. But what other reason could it be? Do you honestly think you'll find God haters here? Atheists or other queers? Of course not, that would be ridiculous. You came here looking for God.

I suggest you read the KJV for starters and get an handle on what is expected. Not much really, even some feeble minded people can get a grip on it .
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

As I said, I didnt come here looking for atheists, nor did I come here to spread hatred towards your God (or anyone in that matter). I came here for one reason. Understanding. I actually find any form of religion utterly interesting, any thought very appealing. Still I share with almost none of it. I look for understanding, as understanding is my virtue.

If you dont want to keep it in a friendly nature, can't you keep it in a neutral nature, just as you greet someone walking past you, or holding up the door for a stranger?

                And for your second post:

I am indeed a Swede, how did you guess? And what do you mean with "afflicted with"?

Wanting to learn is a great thing but in your first post, you describe yourself as a 'Nihilist'. That to me sounds like you have already made a choice. Only a fool would make an ill or uninformed choice. I hope you are neither.
I also have to wonder why you care as you claim there is no point. It is the same attitude crack whores and Homers have.

I take it as You accept me as a member?

If so, I thank you for this. And as I said earlier, I will not show any aggression nor will I fail to respect you. I will never start a debate (if you don't give me permission to do this), but I might ask you questions OT. I have alot of questions regarding what I see as contradictions in your Script, and would be more than happy to get a piece of your mind on these subjects. If I ever show you any form of disrespect (from your angle) please tell me this and I will give you an apology (our minds are not alike, therefore, a question I take as friendly or neutral, might offend you).

I'm really a nice guy. Even though I dont share your opinions, I respect them.

Well, as it seems you accepted my pressence, I hope I'll learn alot from you guys, and I wish you a pleassant weekend!

Pal, we don't buy into the new agey/touchy-feely/Demon-crat notion of automatic mutual respect. Why do people place such high value on respecting everything, as if that were an admirable goal in and of itself? NO, we do NOT respect things that are not of God. Your opinions that are contrary to God's are less than worthless, and we are obligated to spit on them.

As for "contradictions", there are none. The KJV Bible is completely without error, as are facts stated by True Christians™.

As for your not starting a debate, that is wise as this is NOT a debate forum; it is a praise forum. We are not obligated to try arguing you into accepting the Baby Jesus into your heart.

You are a "nice guy"? We are not. You might have heard they finish last. We are Warriors for Christ. When has "nice" ever won a battle? Never.

Just giving you a friendly reality check so your feelings don't get hurt.

As for your membership status, that is up to our Godly Pastors, whose judgement and wisdom True Christians™ do not question or inquire about.
