  • Hi from God's Country

Hello, I am here to spread the word of god and to emphasize the importance of Mary's contributions throughout Christian history. I welcome all other religions that wish to convert to Catholicism and help crusade across the globe and save as many people as possible.

Obviously, we will be crusading from our computer desks, but help me bring the word of God, the way it is meant to be said, to other religions and other Christian denominations alike.

I especially call out to the Baptists here, to put down your moonshine, and come towards the truth. God loves you and wishes you to be saved.

I look forward to the exchange of ideas on this board.

Mary's contribution was minimal. God could have arranged it to happen to any woman. She gets fewer mentions in The Bible than Judas and Satan. The only time Jesus has a conversation with her, He basically asks her why she isn't home doing the dishes.

The people know what the vicar of Rome stands for - buggery. A strange and perverse way to worship God...

"Satan", is barely mentioned in the real Bible. Maybe in the heathen bible, Satan plays more of a lead role.

God chose Marry specifically. She was saved. She was he redeemed while Jesus is the redeemer. She brought Jesus close to humanity with her inspiration and love like any mother to her son. She played a lead role in the life of Jesus and the basis for all Christianity. Mind you, this is ancient history, this was not concocted in 15th century England.

      Praise Blessed Virgin Mary

What is "the heathen bible" in your unlearned opinion? What do you think of the Jerusalem Bible, the New Jerusalem Bible, the Jerusalem Reader, the New Jerusalem Reader and the Douay Rheims? What do you think of the 1611 King James Bible? How do all of those texts differ from your probably insalubrious "real Bible?"

The King James "bible for dummies" omitted various books and documents accepted by the Church (long before your denomination was formed) as scripture.

Vulgate by Saint Jerome (Latin)- > Duoay-Rheims (English)

          The catholic bible typically contains:

          Jerusalem Bible
          Tobit
          Judith
          Wisdom
          Sirach
          Baruch
          Maccabee
          Apocrypha
          The Deuterocanonical

          Some of:

          Esther
          Daniel

BTW, nobody here is "worshipping" Mary. Praising Mary and worshipping Mary are 2 different things. And funny you should mention Pagans. I am pretty sure the Catholic church was not practicing, or condoning paganism 1700 years before the Baptist Church materialized the same was Mormonism and and Scientology did

                Dear Papist Dog;

This is a Christian forum. Papists are not Christians.

Also, this is NOT a debate forum. Please read THIS thread before making an even bigger fool of yourself.

Secondly, while the internets might seem to be "free" to you, this particular corner of the internets is a privately owned Christian forum. The rights you have on this forum are listed HERE. Please contact a Pastor immediately if you feel that any of your rights have been violated.

Finally, your unsaved opinions or tantrums are not even slightly of interest to us. We follow the Holy Word of God TO THE LETTER, and make no apologies for that. One of the most important commandments in the Bible tells us to avoid unsaved scum such as yourself. You wandered in here uninvited, and unwelcome .
                Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Why do you think that Jesus turned His back on Mary? What do you know that He didn't?

Mark 3:31 There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him. 32And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee.
33And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren?
34And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
