    Correct. Every single word.

Have you read it, my friend?

Not trying to lay a trap, just trying to understand your form of christianity (although I'm sure you will interject with it is the true form of christianity).

I guess what has me baffled is why you are choosing to use a bible that has been translated from various languages...why not choose a bible written in Greek? Surely some words have been "lost in translation." Opinions?

                      Re: Wondering

I would say the original Greek would even be better, but not everyone can read Greek.

The reason for the KJV is that it is most inclusive of canonical scripture. It doesn't leave out a lot of verses that modern translations do.

                          Very true sir.

                          My name is Justin,

I'm living in the Baptist part of Texas, but I am practicing Catholic (let the hailstorm begin....). Married a few months ago. Currently work full time as a cook, and go to school full time. Very conservative.

Someone posted this forum on another board and I figured I would come in and ask some questions out of curiosity.

That was my first question though, word for word from the King James bible. Thank you for answering.

If you have Baptist Churches in your area why would you be a catholic?? Is it due to lack of scriptural knowledge or is it due to a sexual preference that wouldn't be accepted anywhere else? The only good thing the vatican ever did was the persecution of Galileo for his God mocking heliocentric ideas but they even got that wrong in the end and agreed with the so called 'evidence'.

Throw away your heretical Bible, read the KJV1611 and accept Jesus as your savior before it's too late,
