Lost and need help

I just got home from a local bar attempting to drown my misery in alcohol. A man came up and talked to me and witnessed to me. I thought it was odd that such a godly man would be in a bar, but whatever it takes to get the word out i guess is what you have to do. He said some things to me that really made me think and look at myself and realize what i was doing is wrong. He also referred me to this site.

I am ready to be over the bad events in my life and what he said gives me reason to believe this is the answer. I did find some of the things he said rather odd, however i don't know much about religion so what he said could be totally true and its just my own ignorance. Some of the things he said were also hurtful, such as calling me unsaved trash and other negative things, however in retrospect, he is right. Can you help me brothers?

Thank you so much sir.

The oddest things i heard him say was brought about because of me mentioning part of the reason for my miser, my problems with women. I have been left for other men, lied to, betrayed, and stabbed in the back. I wasn't completely in my right mind at the time, but i remember he said something like that women are lower than men, and it is ok to hit them when they deserve it. I was totally shocked because i have always been taught to treat all people, regardless of gender, race, or religion, with love and respect and never to resort to violence except to save ones own life or the life of another.

I will say that there are many other problems in my life that drove me to that point, however we will not talk about those until later when i feel more comfortable and know that i can trust you and truly help me. They are quite personal to me and i find them somewhat embarrassing to talk about. I hope you understand. This is going to be a step by step process for me.

This idea that women have an equal value to men and have a right to an opinion is simply not biblical. While God doesn't say you can go round thumping women willy nilly (this may tread on the toes of their husbands) He most certainly makes it plain that any children of yours or wives should be subject to you on many occasions.

It sounds to me that you have been influenced by secularists or false Christians. Only reading the Bible with an open mind will show you what it is to be a True Christian™ and to be Saved! You'll soon be more in step with God's actual morals instead of fluffy cherry picked or simply made up morals you have been duped by.

Just earlier today I had to admit on this very website to having my mouth filled with the seed of another man (this is, of course, before I became a True Christian(tm) ). God told me via James 5:16 it was the right thing to do, and by golly He was right, HE WAS RIGHT!

Please educate me on the other issues. I want to learn quickly because the way the man spoke, the end of the world is near, and i don't want to be saved too late.

I do have one question though, you admit to giving oral sex to another man, but the man at the bar said that all homosexual men should be killed and go to hell. This confuses me. It seems contradictory.

I did explain to her with reason, i worked all day earning money to support us while she had the day off and did pretty much nothing all day, and i come home to a dirty house, dishes in the sink, dirt on the floor, and dirty clothes in the bedroom. She argued, i tried reasoning with her, it didn't work, and i hit her. She left and got her father who held a gun to my face and said if i ever laid a hand on her again he would pull the trigger next time.

I have another question about the man to man oral. I remember a passage in the bible, i do not remember which book, or the mans name, but he was punished by god for spilling a seen on the ground. By spitting it out, haven't you wasted a seed and killed millions of sperm that should have been made into more human lives? That seems like a million abortions all wrapped up into one event. Which horrifies me.

You're probably thinking about Onan (Genesis 38:9-10). This only serves to highlight the importance of timely repentance!!!

Brother Zechariah salvation was not based on the spitting/swallowing choice but it was his choice to "accepted Christ into my heart, repented for my sins" that saved him. To be honest he could have been disgusted with himself for his homer behaviour and shot the guy in the head (he is small fire arms trained) and as long has he genuinely repented and accepted Jesus he would still be saved.

The fellow you're thinking of is Onan. If you read the relevant passage carefully, though, you'll see that Onan's sin was not simply the spilling of seed:

Genesis 38:9-10

9And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother's wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother.

10And the thing which he did displeased the LORD: wherefore he slew him also.

Though it clearly displeases God when you murder unborn children by ejaculating anywhere other than a into a fertile womb, Onan's true sin was selfishness: He was spilling his seed in order to avoid doing his duty, which was to impregnate his dead brother's wife. He did not want to do this because he didn't want to give her children who would then be entitled to part of his fortune.

In the case of our Brother Zechariah, there was probably no fertile womb within easy spitting distance, so it's just as well that he spat the seed onto the stomach of the man he'd been raping with his mouth. Had he swallowed the seed, I believe he would have also been guilty of cannibalism.

You'll find that Zechariah is one of the Godliest, most heterosexual men you could ever hope to meet. The Lord really does have a knack from lifting people out of the lowest places and making them shine!
