    Hello, I'm here to learn

I'm not Christian (much less catholic), sorry for that. But even though I'm not here to change my mind, nor yours, I am here to learn a bit more about you Christians so I can understand you better and who knows, may be we will all learn new stuff in the process.

Re: Hello, I'm here to learn

Well, this is a pretty poor introduction by any measure, but thank you for your honesty. How old are you? Have you hated Jesus Christ your entire life? Or are you just recently an apostate?

Do you realize the peril your soul is in each and every day? We never know when we will be stricken. How do you sleep at night knowing that the sulphorous lakes of fire in Hell await you for your disbelief?

But Jesus sent you to us for a reason, my friend.

    In Christ
Matthew 19:14 "But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."

      Dear friend:

Please don't apologize for not being a Catholic. Catholics are not Christians.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Re: Hello, I'm here to learn

Welcome friend, an easy way to learn about us is to read the Bible. If it is not in the Bible, we do not believe in it. If it is in the Bible, we follow it.

If the Good Book is hard for you to understand, you can read this:
        Bible in a Year
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

True, Catholics are much less than Christians. But there is hope even for a Catholic like you.

Just stop praying to Mary, and pray to Jesus and God instead!

Why are you trying to understand us better if you have no intention of becoming a Christian? Are you trying to get information so you can use it against us?

I'd be interested to hear what happened to make you hate Christians.

And by the way, we are not here to argue or debate with you. We're right and you're wrong, so if you start out with that reality, we'll all get along just fine.

I've seen this before. I'm pretty sure he's here to persecute us. But by doing so, he only serves to multiply our blessings in Heaven.

                Matthew 5:10-11
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
                II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. It'll be another person too lazy to read the bounty of information on the glory of God all over this forum but wanting us to summarise things for him.

                  Away and read, friend.
