    Greetings

I found this forum thru a google search. Interesting nonetheless. I'm loving the emoticon on the right. I'm a Baptist from a small town near Chicago. My favorite verse is Psalms 118:24. Again. Greetings.

Welcome to God's favorite forum. Please tell us about yourself, your church, and your military service. I'll require you to pass along your full name, rank and serial number for verification purposes. I'm a simple man. I enjoy taking care of my horses and take pride in my work. I attend Messiah Baptist Church. Unfortunately I can't be there tonight due to illness. I bet the flu bug found its way into me.

I know you mean well, but giving out information such as that to strangers on the internet is dangerous. I worked in a division of the CIA and that's all I can tell you.

Hi. Which war were you in? One of the easy ones like Afghanistan and Iraq, or was it something more difficult like Korea or Vietnam? Gooks are completely crazy and are actually worthy opponents unlike the cowardly arab turban bombers. Or are you even old enough to have offed some Japs on Okinawa?

Afghanistan a while back. Not as easy as one may think even if they're cowards. Although I met some great men I'm proud to call brothers, I'd never want to go back. If there were a hell on Earth, Afghanistan would be the center circle. I sometimes wish we could pull out and nuke the place to a big piece of glass, but those poor children and those damn insurgents. Makes me so angry!

            How about you?

Why is this person pretending to be some sort of black ops dude instead of praising Jesus and telling us about his love for the Lord?

I was asked about my past, I didn't bring it up. But yes it does suck I'm missing church tonight. I believe I got the flu from a friend. I believe I've been a Christian since the day I was born. Jesus has gotten me thru a lot of bad situations. How are you worshiping tonight?

I'm afraid I haven't had the pleasure of sending sand nigras or zipperheads to Hell, but I have higher hopes for my children. The oldest 4 are in the youth branch of the navy.

As for Afghanistan being hell on earth, you should perhaps read up on trench warfare in WWI to get an idea of what hell on Earth is actually like.

Ah the Great War. Terrible terrible place to be, trenches. By hell on Earth, I meant the climate. Trenches from what I've read were full of disease, death... Horrid.

Ah. So Afghanistan is Hell on Earth because it's warm in the summer and cold in the winter. Gotcha.

Oh, I don't know. Maybe that you are about as far south from Illinois as you can get.
