I found this website through a forum I like visiting from time to time. This place struck me as very interesting and (thought) provocative, and I would like to ask you 'true christians' what would become of me once I die - after all, you are the closest to god
I am not christian. I was baptised, but I have found the 'teachings of God' to be too cumbersome and self contradictory to be followed. Nonetheless, I would say my moral integrity is very much intact - I give money to several charities, I have volunteered to work with the homeless and poor, I even volunteered in war torn and lawless regions of Africa. I can say without doubt that I am an all around good person.
I live a modest life, and pride myself only in the good I do others. I tick all the boxes of being a follower of God, with the exception of believing in his existence/the faith that is called 'religion' that he has set down for us. If any religion can apply to me, the closest would be Buddhism.
What does this mean I have in store after my life comes to an end?
