  • Hello brothers and sisters in Christ!

Well hello brothers and sisters! Amen and peace be with you through the power of Jesus Christ!

I want to introduce my self.
I am Joe, a 33 year old lover of the one and true GOD of the universe, Jesus!
I attend the Free Will Baptist church where I server the mighty creator.

I asked Jesus to come into my heart and save me from my evil, wicked, sinful, satan filled life at the age of 3. There standing at the altar I fell on my little knees and cried out for my savior "Save me from the wicked hands of satan!". And here I am today filled with the Holy Spirit doing the Lords work.

I found your wonderful site but saw a post on the forums that worried me. It was "3 Experiments You Can Do At Home that PROVE THE EARTH IS FLAT!". The pastor of my child hood told me the holy Bible said the world was round and I believed him being such a young little sheep of Jesus.
Boy was I wrong. After testing the experiments, prayer and fasting, Jesus has told me through his holy Word the world is flat.
My pastor must have been deceived by satan and the evil, secular, gay loving, atheist scientists!

Well enough about me. I hope to hear from you lovers of Jesus!
May God put a hedge of protection around you and your families from the evil powers of the liberal, Nintendo WII playing, beelzebub loving democrats!

    God bless!

It's a scandal when even a so-called Pastor will deny the words of God just to score a cheap likeability point with secular liars.

Welcome to God's favourite forums. I only hope others will see such a shining example of a proper introduction and learn from it.

Please show us what your favourite Bible verse is so we can see how you praise Jesus. Also tell us why that particular verse sets your soul a-ringing with joy for Christ.

John 5:46,47 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

Praise the LORD and glory to His name!

Every verse in the GODs holy KJV Bible is my favorite. But I do have a few that really speak to my heart and show me the amazing love, mercy, grace and the wonderful life we have in our Lord Jesus Christ.

I rejoice in Jesus when I go through trials and am persecuted! My soul rings with happiness when I am hated by the godless evil pagans of this sinful world! There are times when I am drug down by the enemy. Satan, homos and the evil democrats try to steal my joy. So I cling to the Word of GOD and read His words of encouragement.

1 Peter 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

1 Peter 2:20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.

      Philippians 1:29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

2 Corinthians 12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

O glory I get exited! In Jesus we have such a wonderful and joyful life! I thank Jesus every day for the suffering! God is a great father.

Is there anything in particular you suffer from? Do not be shy, we have had people who previously suffered from gayness and were cured and baptised in Christ so you cannot shock us.

A cautious welcome to you, Seeker Joe.

I've known a few people who went to Free Will Baptist churches, and they had some very interesting views on salvation. Do you believe in giving people a second chance?

          Yours in Christ,

Praise the Lord! Back in my teenage years satan tempted me with the evil, wicked down syndrome life style(Down syndrome is a lifestyle choice!). But our mighty Father in His wonderful chastisement ways and grace, TORE me down and SHAMSHED me in love! In my broken state I wiped the slobber that was pouring from my mouth, starting talking like a normal and even wiped my own tush, Glory! As the true word says, James 4:7 "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"

Well brother Smyth. I do believe in second chances but ONLY if its before the holy and wonderful rapture when God takes the true followers a way from this evil, wicked world. And when the rapture happens I will make sure I spit on every rainbow loving homo, atheist socialist democrat, child raping papist I see as I'm floating to glory!

Whew! I sure am glad to see that you've abandoned one of the key beliefs of Freewill Baptists. See, they interpret (NEVER A GOOD THING!!!) Hebrews 6 to mean that if you come to Christ and then have a "falling out" so to speak, you aren't ever welcome again.

                Imagine!

You need to read that whole thread. Did not geometry teach you that an object can be round and flat at the same time? You are confusing a circle with a sphere.

Plates are round too. They however are not spheres. Take a photo of them at just the right angle and they might appear like a sphere.

If God wanted to convey the idea that the earth is a sphere he could have done so without any effort. He speaks perfect English. He also spoke perfect Hebrew once upon a time.

                  Compare:
Isaiah 40:22 -- It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
where the word translated as circle is חוג (chug). It means flat as in a coin. The Hebrew word for globe, or orb or ball is דור (dur).

                  With:
Isaiah 22:18 -- He will surely violently turn and toss thee like a ball into a large country: there shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy lord's house.
Ball here is of course dur.

                  Hope that helps.
                  YiJC, BS

II Peter 1:4 -- Whereby are giuen vnto vs exceeding great and precious promises, that by these you might bee partakers of thy diuine nature, hauing escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
