Hello there and welcome to the interweb forums of God's favorite Church!

It is good to have a visitor that seems to be a fine young Christian woman, as we've pretty much had nothing but wave after wave of the unsaved hordes invading our precious website simply to thumb their noses at the Lord. Our only request is that you employ a proper writing style and use the King James 1611 Bible as your source for His guidance in your quest toward Salvation.

      Once again, welcome!

Matthew 13:41-43 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

        Re: hi everyone

Apologies for not writing properly. I will make every effort to correct this. I hope if I do make a mistake someone here will point it out quickly for me, so I can correct and wrongdoing on my part. As a good Christian woman it is my place to do as commanded and to fix any mistake I have made.

Thank you Youth Pastor Marty for the warm welcome. And I realize at this point I am unsaved trash but I hope that can be changed in the future and I will do whatever is required of me to reach that point.

Please use the King James Bible. It's a fine bit of scripture that you chose but sometimes lesser Bibles dilute God's word and even change its meaning completely.

          For example:
          Psalm 92:10

But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil. (KJV)

You have exalted my horn like that of a wild ox; fine oils have been poured upon me. (NIV)

Why do they want to turn Christians into unicorn-deniers? Who knows, but you can bet it's not to glorify God.

John 5:46,47 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

Yes of course Redeemed. Thank you for pointing that out. Such as this?

"And Onan knew that the seed should not be his, and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother's wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother." (Genesis 38:9)

If only all the new people were as accommodating as you and took a light rebuke as if it wasn't the end of the world and like they had been told to eat their own foot.

Onan really did offend God and it is well worth reminding other new posters who see your good example of this.

How is your father getting along in trying to find you a fine Christian husband and what pie would you bake for him for his first meal as your husband?

Is that one of your favorite verses? How wonderful! I just quoted it myself as part of my favorites!

Oh it is so exciting to see so many fine young ladies like myself here, and unmarried. It's such a shame we don't have husbands yet, but at least we have our sisters in Christ.

                    Re: hi everyone

Pastor Gregory O. Baker of FaithWay Baptist Church in Ajax, Canada, was found dead in his house on Monday, June 29, 2009. He commited suicide. This is so hard...I have a hard time dealing with death, but this is especially hard. So many people looked up to this man, I heard him preach so often. This goes against everything he ever stood for, everything he ever taught. Imagine what his wife, his children, and his grand-children are going through, and all the people at his church. Please pray everyone, a church and a family never fully recover from such a tragedy. I don't know why this happened, why he felt he couldn't go on in life when he had Jesus alongside. We'll never understand, but it wouldn't lessen the pain even if we did. Please pray everyone!
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

                      Re: hi everyone

That's truly dreadful, James. What a horrible thing to happen that the person they trusted was a hellbound freak after all. I hope his hidden spirit of Antichrist didn't spread to his congregation and they remain steadfast in their attendance to scripture.

This is part of the problem with you Unsaved Trash.

I read the cited verse and I pondered Redeemed Papist's passage. I pondered it long and hard.

Here is what I think: The horn is a symbol of strength or power and here he means that the wicked would be cut off but that God would honor and exalt the righteous man. The psalmist here speaks of himself not so much with reference to his own particular case, but as the representative of the righteous. “I shall be anointed with fresh oil - Oil pure and sweet; not old and rancid. That is, he would be made happy, cheerful, bright, and prosperous.”

In other words, the verse is one of the proof of God, and proof that the righteous shall be rewarded.

Redeemed Papist, however, was making a point about how later and uninspired translations also dilute and destroy this meaning. A unicorn is a unique creature, one we know exists because the Bible says so, but one that, like God himself, remains elusive to our senses. The mis-translation of “ox” is an absurdity that misses the point.

Instead of considering the Biblical significance of the passage, you dream up one verse, make no references to its mistranslation, and instead try to make some puerile reference to masturbation.

Please grow up and stop trying to get cute with us about the Bible. KJV only, please.
"Come Unto Me. Put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath." (Matthew 19:14, Job 1:11).

                          Re: hi everyone

Thank you for the kind words Redeemed. I endevour to be the best Christian woman I can be, and to follow the word of the Lord and the word of Man, as he is made in God's image and I am merely from his rib.

My father is always on the search for a good Christian husband for myself. For a first pie I would have to bake him a rhubarb pie. I have been taught not to bake apple pies as that is the fruit that the temptress Eve fed Adam and I would be wise to avoid that. If my husband requested a certain type of pie that is what I would bake for him.

GLORY Youth Pastor Marty. I want to be saved and realizing right now I am nothing but unsaved trash, I should do as commanded to rightfully be saved.

Glory to you MaryAnn Hope. Yes it is nice to see so many Christian women in one place where we can talk and make friends in Christ. So many evil Whores out there that try to manipulate us and make us like them. True is a shame we are not with Husband yet, but I have faith God will find the man for us.

James, a terrible loss for all the community. Not just in Ajax, but for all Baptists.

If you are going to continue to witter on quoting stuff without chapter and verse you are no use to would-be scholars wanting to see deeper into scripture.

If you are just going to paraphrase or mangle God's word you are no use to anyone.

If you are going to quote secular nonsense...
