If you are going to continue to witter on quoting stuff without chapter and verse you are no use to would-be scholars wanting to see deeper into scripture.

GodsSun, please do not turn my introduction forum into an argument. I am not sure what your believes are but Youth Pastor Marty is a Pastor and far wiser in the ways of the Lord then I am. I do not wish to be reprimanded for what someone else speaks in my introduction forum.

So in what way have you been disciplined by your father? As you seem to be a shining example to new posters thinking of coming in here to rubbish the Lord your father must have raised you right.

What did he use to beat you with and how often? What sort of childish behaviour would have him seeing red and reaching for the rod?

u say u are ditzy but i think u r probly not rilly, u seem rilly sweet and smart !! i am studing to be a cook and my favrite verse is genesis 25:30 because it is about cooking i hope u will stay here and i saw u like rubarb pie, i like it with the custurd, but i am sure u have a tasty pie, too, here is my recipe:

RUBARB CUSTURD PIE: first take 1 pie shell, unbaked and 2-3 c. rubarb, cut up then make a custurd, for that u need 2 egg yolks that u beat plus 1/2 c. milk plus 1 tbsp. cornstarch plus 1 tbsp. flour plus 1/4 tsp. salt plus 3/4 c. sugar and then i like to make a mirrang and for that you need 2 egg whites that u beat stiff (how else can u) plus pinch of salt plus 2 tbsp. sugar.

then u fill the pie shell to level with cut rubarb and mix together all custurd ingredients and pour over rubarb then bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes then reduce the heat to 350 degrees and bake until the rubarb is tender then for the mirrang you add sugar and salt to stiff egg whites and blend with beater. When custurd is set, spread the mirrang around edge of pie and return to oven for 12 to 15 minutes 2 brown it.

i hope u would eat my pie cuz i sure would eat urs: HOPE you enjoy! it is DEELISHUS and GOD BLESS U!!!

Redeemed, my father would often use his hands, a wooden spoon, or a paddle to beat me with. Sometimes his belt, but that was only if he was wearing pants. I'm not sure how many times I have been beaten but I can say that every one of them was warranted and deserved.

I can say that lots of childish behaviour brought it out. If I spoke out of turn, took the Lords name in vain, showed an inappropiate amount of skin, was seen with the wrong people, people he did not approve of, lots of things.

Midge, your pie sounds fantastic! I will have to try that recipe out. My father loves when I make my rhubarb pie, he says it's better then my mothers. I think he's just being nice. I would love to eat your pie someday, and of course you are welcome to a piece of mine as well. I love sharing my pie. I agree with Redeemed, it does sound very juicy. Mine is juicy too.

What a great man. I'm sure he will find you a similarly great husband who knows how to keep you in submission and then you can get busy birthing lots of sons to glorify our Lord.
