When the word planet was coined all it signified was that some ancients had noticed that a few of the stars, five of them, moved about. They called these stars wanderers, which in their language is planet. The planets are just special stars in the same way as a square is a special rectangle.

The scientists even make up special planets that nobody can see except in pictures they claim are taken through telescopes. Well I have a telescope and if I look at a star through it it just looks like a slightly larger dot. But we are supposed to believe that they are there.

Scientists have warped the word to mean something completely different and even claim that the Earth is a planet despite the fact that anyone with sense can see it is not a tiny glowing light in the firmament that just moves around as its only unique quality. Mostly because we stand on it and walk around.

Planets are actually mentioned in the KJV1611 so they do exist however as we can see they are a host of heaven. Clearly therefore the Earth is NOT a planet.

Interestingly the Bible is a great source of astronomical knowledge. No other resources are needed,

Job 9:9
Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south.

Job 38:31
Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?

Modern astronomers will try to tell us this is a planet called Venus however this is never mentioned by the Creator so it is clearly a star.

This thread has garbage as intolerable as SMUT PORNOGRAPHY throughout it!

These scientist can make any kind of pictures they want to make it "appear" that they know what they're talking about. I'm not really comfortable reading the whole thread because I am SURE it is filled with blasphemy. But I am sure that if I DID read it I would be disgusted!

This forum is for GOD FEARING folks, not for smut like images. The view from our lovely hunk of Earth right here in the U.S OF A is just fine for us.

I for one think this Adam fella needs to spend some time reading THE important book and less time on these science mumbo-jumbo books!

Adam, the Bible clearly says that God created the Sun, Moon, Earth and the stars. The Bible also mentions the sort of stars that shine in the morning:

Job:38:7: When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

If God is the uncreated creator of the universe, He is the creator of time. He is not limited by the time dimension he created, so he has no beginning in time. Therefore, He does not have, or need to have, a cause.

Son, as soon as you start sucking up to these "scientists" you will soon find yourself coming to the conclusion that we don't really exist. They'll start telling you that we are made up of these teeny tiny "particles" (that no one can see) that can be in two places at the same time, and sometimes they are not "particles" but waves, and sometimes they are both, and that they have no rest masses, or sometimes they don't exist at all.
