Hello everyone My name is Artur Xavier Silva and i am from portugal. I joined this forum to better understand the need for some of you to shame and ridicule a nation you seem to be oblivious about. I am a descendent (of the family of ) Saint Francis Xavier. I am a Roman Catholic, albeit i have been absent from my church in a while because I have a fall out from my faith.

Somehow, I doubt we will ever get the answer to that question. These 'portugese' (basically exiled spics) have brains like fruit flies. A very limited level of expectancy.

and do you expect otherwise by insulting us? I don't really have a favorite bible quote but i liked the genesis part of the old testament. Right now i don' t go um any church in particular but i like one called the church of the congregates

i don' t worship mary instead of jesus. But i like to say a prayer to her. I feel sorry for you for judging others so belicously with a blatant disregard for the truth. This sort of attitude was what drove me away

Son, we are not the judges here, we are teachers of His word. We don't spread hate, we are here sharing the good news with unsaved trash like yourselves so that even you - may given a chance to accept Jesus into your heart and go to Heaven.

Exodus 20:3-6 Yikes, God really doesn't like idols, I really can't see why you would even still pray to her. What is so special about Christ's mother? Had it not been her, it would of been some other woman - but Christ would still be Christ!

I am praying for you son, no one deserves to go to Hell without a fair chance at redemption - even the portuguese.

Well i was certainly not the one who opened a thread on calling the portuguese ugly, rude, drug,etc..... And you tell me this does not spread hate? well may be i need my eyesight checked. And well there is a prayer called hail to mary (at least i have been taught that prayer since i was born). that particular prayer has been around a long time ago before fátima.

Son, it spreads awareness. You think we'd feel good about everyone going to Hell and we didn't even at least try to get through to their thick skulls? We can't just quietly watch those who haven't at least had a chance at redemption quietly send themselves to Hell.

Mark 16:15-16 son, it is clear in the Bible we are to go out and bear witness to unsaved trash.

Then there's hope for you. Did you leave because of the child rape? or was it because of the ritual cannibalism? the worship of idols like "Mary, queen of heaven"?

That pretty much counts as worship, Artur.

You see, God demands that we have no gods before Him. That means you pray to Him, not to the dead woman He used to carry Himself when He chose to incarnate.

It also doesn't mean you continue to insist she's a virgin after she had several children. Or that you claim she was taken up into Heaven in bodily form, when the Bible says no such thing.
