Look, son, we're trying really hard to give you some tough love here so you don't have to spend the rest of your life dreading a lake of fire and all you can do is throw it back in our faces.

Go and actually read a Bible and you'll see the glory of God clearly.

Look mate, i've read the bible, i've read the Koran, all I bloody do is read and read and read and I would like to believe I am looking to make an informed decision.

What you call tough love my friend I see as ignorance. I have been lurking some more and when I was hoping for an enlightening and interesting discussion and maybe even questioning into my core values all I have seen is 'interpretation' racism, hate all hidden by the "It's in scripture" part. Even though many of the arguments can be nullified by the very book you are preaching.

Jesus, the father and the holy spirit... the holy trinity, the three that make one! is a nice story, it really is. But the fact it you are believing a book written long after the man Jesus was alive through the eyes of those who observed it with their own human flaws and a version of the story that was re-written for the commoner.

God would not have given you free will (if that even exists) if not to question it. These things are proven and the burden is on you to prove your hypothesis when making these claims.

I may have been a lot more susceptible to discussion and maybe even more open to discussion of my own faith/lack of if you came across as rational people. But you don't at all! You instantly shun any new person and claim to love them and want to save them... but you go about it in a strange way.

I mean claiming black people are people punished by God because of some persons bad interpretation in the bible... a mans interpretation in a time when slavery was rife and we didn't understand the human body in the most basic sense let alone now when we can genetically state why a persons skin is the colour it is. This is wrong in any eyes!

Quote the bible as much as you want... follow it... whatever... you won't find intellegent pulling in it, and you won't see Jesus in the dead sea scrolls (which I didn't jump on your idiot poster earlier for despite being called a loser)

Because if there did turn out to be a God, I would pretty much bet my life on it being something completely different to the being depicted by man in the bible.

Sadly that's what you're doing: betting your eternal life. God can hear you but there's this itty bitty problem.

Sadly, friend, we hear this all the time. The reality of God's loving hatred of you for being a lying sinner who spits in His face is hard to swallow. All you need to do is thank Him for providing you with a way to be saved from being a wretched sinner who will burn in Hell and follow His instructions.

Is that too much to ask?

If there was any substantial evidence that there was a heaven, that a God existed and that this was what it wanted to enter heaven then the question could be asked... but until that time then no.

And that is only by your 'literal' interpretation of the bible. And despite sinning, all I need to do is atone for my sins at the end... and if faced with the prospect for burning for eternity in hell it will be pretty well meant... The first man into heaven was a criminal remember.

Secondly, while the internets might seem to be "free" to you, this particular corner of the internets is a privately owned Christian forum. The rights you have on this forum are listed HERE. Please contact a Pastor immediately if you feel that any of your rights have been violated.

Finally, your unsaved opinions or tantrums are not even slightly of interest to us. We follow the Holy Word of God TO THE LETTER, and make no apologies for that. One of the most important commandments in the Bible tells us to avoid unsaved scum such as yourself. You wandered in here uninvited, and unwelcome .

Fortunately, the Internet is a public forum and free, and following the bible "TO THE LETTER" is not a valid excuse for bigotry and homophobia.
