This is because you are using the word in a sense that science fiction blasphemers hijacked it for so you would turn away from Jesus.

Now you are free to go ahead and believe that despite all the evidence to the contrary there are little grey men living on one of the lights in the firmament if you want but it's not really me you should be worrying about.

But if Jesus could take the time to die on the cross (temporarily) you can take the time to double check before you mash 'submit reply'. It's not like a hadouken, is it?
