I first found this site through a friend of mine who sent me a link to your thread about Oblivion. I then choose to look around and see just a fraction of your forum to well see what this was all about and if someone was having a laugh with me....it appears I was mistaken it seems your all very serious about your views.

You could say in a way I am making this in a way to try and help my fellow man. Now before I start I'll tell you a little about myself but I do ask that before you jump straight to anger or believe I am "Trolling" your site please try to read what I am attempting to say and give me a respectful responce instead of trying to troll me back. , I'm twenty-one years old and I come from Scotland (Not British or English). I have been an atheist for around ten years and have ambitions of joining the British Army.

Finding this site is well very intresting because in Europe and well Scotland situations such as this are well never happen I believe and if they do people like this usually stay behind locked doors. In Scotland we have relgious problems with Catholics and Prodistants mainly over Football (Not the American Kind). For me growing up there were places I couldn't really go because if they found out what my relgion was there was a good chance I would be beaten up or even worse infact a place I live close to have the only Black Subway as far as I know it in the World because Rangers supporters do not like the colour green (Yes its really that petty). When I came to the age of 13 I choose to become an Atheist and live by my own guidelines to life. Now before you jump on here and start blasting I'm going to burn in hell well if I am wrong at the end of the day and your right you can say it then and have all the fun you want but if I am right and there is no God etc well I'll not get a chance to mock you cause I'll be a pile of rotting bits and peices.

I don't even know where to start the fact I saw one thread about people with disablities going to hell is well thats a pretty out there view. These people who are born like that didn't ask for it no child/baby can commit a sin they have no way to know what it is they are doing and telling me as a baby none of you lot commited one bad thing I find hard to believe. These people want nothing more than to be like us or not to be the way they are but they know they can't be but they try damn hard and deserve our respect and help when they require it like all people do in life. We are all here to help each other regardless of colour/race/relgion it is in our best intrest to stick together and help each other and not be concerned with what colour a persons skin is and what god they worship true they might be wrong but then again so might you its called respecting your fellow man and I'm pretty sure there is alot of that in the bible.

As for the thread that made me register and take my time sending this reply. Video Games....I mean I don't even know how such thoughts like this can be thought of. Video games are a place where you can escape the real world go blow off some steam. Now in America you seem to think video games make people go blow people away well I've not heard of a case yet in Scotland or well most of Europe. I have been playing Video Games before I could tie my own shoe laces and let me tell you I've played all manner of video games. Role-Playing, Action, Adventure, Shooting you name It I've probley tried it out. I have played Oblivion and I can say the only thought I had was when I went to the realm of Oblivion I thought this would of been what hell could look like. With the magic and that well I am more your big sword type of guy who prefers to dive into the action. I can say I play most games as a good person I try to make the right call you know do the proper thing try to help people and punish the bad guys. I believe when you play a video game you are doing it for many reasons.

1. Your a dumbass and just think bright colours and things dying is fun.
2. You want to escape your life because it's bad, alot of teenagers will play video games to escape a very upsetting pair of parents or to deal with some trouble.
3. Because you enjoy the story it tells about the surivial of one man or a group conquering those who threaten you (My own choice).

I could probley list more but well this is it really you will always get the little dumbasses who just play it and are amazed by the bright colours etc these people are wasters and will only ever play video games. I remember when two kids in America went out to the highway and began shooting at cars and Grand Theft Auto got blamed for it. I have played most of the Grand Theft Auto games and I can tell you at no point did I ever consider going out and shooting people for these reasons.

1.It was wrong.
2. I'd get in trouble
3. It was stupid

I was around nine or ten and I was able to make a call and know what they did was stupid. I can tell you more people have died following the bible than they have video games, We all know what the Crusades where don't we. Video games allow us to do things in a game which we wouldn't in real life and btw Video games are simply for companies to get rich but in their games they give you a "Choice" on which path you want to follow. Maybe before you bash these games sit down with your greatnephew and get his views on the game then maybe play it a little learn about something before you make such a out there shocking thread about it.

Now to finish off I think, I said I was an Atheist, If any of you have kept reading this far after seeing this I thank you for your time. I became one because when I made the choice my life was going crap and you know what all my prayers....unanswered. So I stopped trying to let someone else fix it and I "Fixed" it and you know what things kept getting better. Infact one year ago I was lazy and always playing Video games and eating junk food now a year one I've lost four stone gained a bunch of confidence about myself and have an application into the British Army to defend not my county but my people...Humans. Now before you go thinking ooohhhh Videos games must of made you want to go shoot people. I never wanted to join up to hurt anyone or kill anyone I want to join up to help mankind all around the world secure a better future for themselves. I want people to have the right not to be afraid and yes I do understand I might have to hurt people or kill people but I'm pretty sure anyone who wants to kill me must be doing something wrong for them to be up against me.

I am very happy with my life and where it is going and who is your god to question my life and say I am wrong in how I live my life. I want to follow a good set of rules where I don't want to kill,cheat,lie,steal or do many bad things instead I want to help as many people as I can.

Now I find this very intresting that you would use that one. It says a fool hath no delight in understanding. Now to understand something you must find examine the "Thing" be it an object etc and study it then once you have done that you must make up your mind on the matter. To believe in God you must of first looked at it studied it then made up "YOUR" mind on the subject and chosen to follow the path you have taken no one forced you it was by your own free will you choose your path as I have my own.

But that his heart may discover itself.

It fits because in taking your own path, your own path through life you are discovering yourself be it good,evil etc. I totally agree with that I have came up with my own views because I looked at something, studied it then choose to go my own way. It was my OWN view on the subject that lead me down this path.

Just so you know I don't hate Jesus in any way infact some of the bible speaks sence to me in how we should show each other respect. I also believe I have the freedom to share my views with the world as you do, I believe this site in some way is so people may see the views you have and share them with the world. This is your forum getting "Feedback" Don't hate on it instead take it, study it and write something with meaning back at me instead of attempting to think something of me you know nothing about.

You may read something as it is written but you must first study it to Understand it. Just because you read it doesn't mean you understand any of it. Am I a fool maybe I am but then again maybe you are we have no way of knowing if either is correct or not. Not you or I can prove without a doubt the existance of a god or that he/she doesn't exist you my friend have what is called Faith but to have Faith there must be reason behind it.

Obviously you only read what you want to see I did clear up that issue.

I'm Scottish not British my friend, yes my country may be apart of the United Kingdom but at no point have I ever called myself "British" I even write on forums that I am Scottish where there is no option to do so.

And I am pretty sure you wouldn't mind if I was playing games where I was in the service of god all the time now would you. Also don't hate God I just think "If" he was real he would be as flawed as a human.

The reason behind faith is that God exists because how else do you explain the Bible and its totally accurate and infallible record of God's deeds and wishes?

Matthew 4:4 Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

And yet here you are, mocking and demanding that we twist His words until we follow your much vaunted point of view.

Now just for a little joke I am pretty sure when I was five years old some of the words in the bible were a little far out there for my understanding.

Now where do I bitch slap you here. The fact that MEN wrote that bible, the fact that a Roman Empeour also "Edited" the bible for lack of a better word or for the fact sections of the bible are missing or have been changed. The bible was not written by god it was written by men who are Flawed we know this, this is fact.

If you say I am very judgemental you must know how I am going to turn that around on you. I have seen threads on here bashing, Goths, Disabled People, People of different colours and relgions. Now thats Judgemental if ever there was a way. I came here to try to tell you people look we can all "Get Along" with each other we don't have to hate each other.

Another factor been looking at those funky icons in your names. "Tell Her Once" Now I don't have to be smart to know what that means when its a fist shaking. I guess you believe you are better than a women, My friend my mother was in the RAF (Royal Air Force) and would kick seven shades of different colours out of you.
