Once again thank you Pastor. I'm still not quite as adept at navigating this forum as I should be.

In search of the proper forums for my questions I've found that my ability to post has been restricted. Either from my poor reputation or other factors. I would be willing to share anything else that you would like to know about myself to open up communication and the opportunity to ask you about Bible verses that I don't quite understand.

Andy advice or helpful hints would be appreciated.

You can post anywhere. You just can't start a new thread outside of this one.

Use the "search" function. There are hundreds of threads to read, full of golden gospel goodies.

            Re: Forgive my tresspasses

Seeing as I cannot start new threads yet, I hope I can post here. My question/story doesn't quite fit in to any existing thread....

            Here goes:

We've had a few hot summer days here in Ohio already. and to cool off I was eating some watermelon. I like it. My father was on his way to work and passed me asking "Why are you eating that negro (he used a stronger derogatory word) food?"

It startled me, I didn't have any answer besides, " I like watermelon".
Is there anything wrong with this? I never equated it with a racial thing? Am I going against god's will somehow with this?

            Any help would be appreciated.

Of course not. Watermelon and fried chicken are good eating.

              Hence this emote.

Do you see how pleased that man is to be eating watermelon?
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Thank you! It would distress me a little to have to give up watermelon to be a better Christian.

I'm glad you're trying to become a Christian!

Maybe it would help others to take your intent seriously if you sought out a more appropriate avatar.

I've been quiet on this forum lately, mainly because I've been watching and learning from the True Christians who post here. However 2 questions have been nagging me, and I'd like some guidance.

                        1) I was having a discussion with a friend about a new casino that was opened in my state. The conversation soon turned to gambling as a sin. Then when I said that I thought it was...I couldn't find the relevant Bible Verse to support me. Did I get it wrong? Did I imagine such a verse? Or did I just loose my bookmark in the good book? If Someone could point out related passages I would be much obliged.

                        2) After reading the "What Can True Christian's Do to Speed Up Global Warming" article I was curious as to what steps are recommended to pollute and hasten Christ's return to us?
