Hello there. I came here and signed up in order to communicate and gain knowledge of your rather strict ways. I myself have been a Christian all my life, whether or not it's up to your standards. I went to church every Sunday, went to a school of religion for 8 years, had my communion, blah blah blah.

The thing is I'm an extremely realistic and logical thinker, and I think for myself. I don't let other peoples words affect me unless I can rationalize what is being said. I come here to gain insight on an extremely specific way of thinking. Unfortunately this seems to be a rather unfriendly place. I'm not here to debate, flame, or give you guys shit. I am here to contest anything that seems incorrect or that I don't understand, for that is how you learn. Again, unfortunately, some people like Pastor Ezekiel do not enjoy many people who sign up here. I come in peace. I was given an infraction of 15 points for correcting a lot of falsified information, and I thought that lying was against what is written within the bible, yet pure fibs are embraced for some reason. The PM also included links to a bunch of threads which I have already read or am in the middle of reading. So trust me, I'm not your average idiot coming here to stir things up.

Aside from that I hope to walk away with a better understanding of the ideas and protocols behind everything here. I'm not exactly seeking salvation since I know I'm a good person, and, if there is a heaven, I will surely wind up there some day.

How or why would you ever think someone would become as strict as you in following the bible when you are so hostile? I say I come here to learn, you say "enjoy Hell." Humans are not perfect and since I have at least 1 flaw I'm automatically banished to the inferno?

I'm not saying I'm exempt to anything for not knowing and/or remembering various verse from the bible. Thanks for the links though.

Why is there absolutely no faith in conversion or helping a person out? You can't tell me every single person here is flawless and has never done anything wrong according to the bible, otherwise they would be headed to Hell if I'm not mistaken.

You know perfectly well the Bible has been around well over 2000 years, a perfected Book of Teachings as authorized by our Creator. I think you are somewhat mistaken, madam.

This is the worlds friendliest website and God's favourite one, too.

We don't try to fix people, we merely tell them what will happen to them if they don't get right with God.

Do you realise how many millions of people have gone to Hell because no one had the common decency to point out what they are doing wrong?

Personally I think true Christians have been so marginalised that liberal Christianity has become the dominant faith. The problem with that is that they interpret the Bible in ways that risk landing them in hell. I think it's about time true Christians step up to the plate and quit standing idly by while good Christians get sent to hell for trusting a kind but misguided liberal. It doesn't matter if you agree with the morals of the Bible. That's not what they're for. They're to be obeyed no matter what your opinions on them are.

I never had the slightest problem with "hostility" at Landover. I think what is mistaken for hostility is a healthy dose of reality about your sinful lifestyle. People want to come here and hear "Oh, you know, God luvs everybody and He is OK with you cutting a few corners..."

But we don't say that. We say "Well, it seems to me you are not following the Bible; hear is Chapter and Verse on why your actions will send you to Hell."

The reaction is always the same: You are so mean to me!! You are so hostile!! I don't want to have to change anything and yet you are telling me I will go to hell.

Look, it's quite simple. If you are really here to learn, then abandon Mary worshiping cult of child molesters knows as "Catholicism."

Realistic: Good. Nothing is more realistic than the Bible and God. Thinking for yourself: Not Good. (Proverbs 12:15; Judges 21:25) God is to determine what we think. Thinking often leads people away from God. (I Cor. 3:20)
