    Greetings

Hello everyone, my name is John. I attend Grace Baptist Church, but wanted to join these forums because many of the people there are Cafeteria Christians and I feel that I need a place to be in fellowship with real believers. I've been a Christian since the day that Jesus' sacrifice was explained to me the Christmas that I was four years old, and my favorite Bible verse is Exodus 14:14, "The Lord will fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace."

Has your father found a bride for you yet? What will you call your first son? Have you decided what you will beat him with yet?

      Re: Greetings

He hasn't found a bride yet. The one time he thought he had found a bride, our Hebrew servant (only in the fifth year of service, so it's okay) noticed that the bible on the family's bookshelf was NIV, not 1611KJV, so that was broken off pretty quickly.

As far as my firstborn son, since he's going to be consecrated unto the Lord as per Exodus 13:2, I was planning on giving him a good biblical name like Jeremiah. I haven't yet decided what I'll beat him with, because one the one hand something like oak is more likely to leave welts that can serve as visual reminders of his transgressions, but on the other hand something springier like willow will hurt more so there's a greater mental association of pain with the wrongdoing. Or I might mix them up, I haven't decided yet.

Welcome to the friendliest forums on the interwebs!
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.
