hello brothers! i'm from argentina, searching on google for christian forums, i found this page. i can see good threads!
i wanna make new friends from USA and the world, and share with they the blessings of the Lord, i really wanna share things about our countries and our churchs.

Brother Levi, the Argies live just off the coast of the Falkland Island and for some reason beleive they should not become part of the UK.

As Argentina is practically in UK territorial waters I can't see what they get some uppity about: we show Evita in the West End loads so we have already absorbed all of their cultural out put.

Why Argentina does not submit to British rule is beyond me.

Brother Laurence: Argies is not the right way to call the people from argentina, The right way is "ARGENTINIAN" or "ARGENTINIANS" (pl). the word "Argies" apply in particular to a place in our country. for example: like if i say "californians" to all people From USA.
about the Islas Malvinas (also called falklands)... is long to explain this conflict, if you like i can explain it, but i believe what is not right to do this in a introduction forum. Just let me know if you want to know more about this.

brother james: our country dont have any portuguese legacy, our people descend principally from inmigrants of italy, spain, germany, russia and another countries more but thats are the principal.
i work as a music teacher and as minister in our church, there is no mines when i live, and is not a caracteristic of our economy the copper mines. our economy is based principally on agro, oil. check this link from wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argentina

dear laqrundellia: the football soccer is before the american football, and was created on england, here we call it FUTBOL but in spain is called balonpie (FOOT= PIE BALL= BALON, BOLA O PELOTA) the reason is for the history and the translation of the word from english to spanish

How do people in your country respond to the good news of John 3:18, where Jesus makes it clear that anyone who isn't a Christian (and Catholics aren't Christians) will spend eternity being burned alive in God's Lake of Fire?

the most people in my country are catholics, because our state accept the catholic church as the official religion. they dont believe in that word, because they are confused for years with the lies of the catholics.
but there is a big number of people who are leaving the idolatry, because we confess the word of the Lord! as say on acts 2:42-47
