Why exactly would a police force put a new recruit on a random schedule? That leads to fatigue and poor decision-making.

Oh, and of course, police don't learn on the job, they learn at the police academy.

Is there anything you've said that's actually true? Are you, for example, actually making dinner?

Three years on the acadamy includes: 8 months of school, 7 months of real policing, then back to school again for another 6 months. Back on the street for another 7 months. School again for about 8 months. Then the exams: 8 weeks.

I am now on the 7 months of policing.

Well, I have to go to work now, but Ill tell you something, Ill go restudy my bible, have to get it down from the attic. Since some of what you all have been saying makes sense, when I just contemplated on it for a while.

If you are not reading a King James Bible, don't bother. And even among many of the KJVs in circulation, you have to watch out for adulterated versions (e.g., NKJV, the 1769 version, etc.). The most readily available version of the King James Authorized Version ©1611, Pure Cambridge Edition, is available for free download at my colleague's website. There are even instructions on how to bind it yourself and build a Bible Study reading stand.

Since I doubt you fellowship among any True Christians™, this is the best place I know for you to obtain a KJV 1611 without having to worry about translational distortions from satan's willing thralls in the world of secular publishing.

Tim, I am very disturbed that you being an atheist would even consider the ministry, especially on the whim of a woman... Very nice! My favorite is in Numbers 31, when God has Moses smite the Midianites for going to serve other gods and encourage Israelites to join them.

Not just the men, but also all the males (even babies!) and non-virgin women. But the little girls got to be "taken" by the Israelite men, so they could bear Soldiers for God!
