Having a different set of beliefs doesn't mean I hate your savior or deity.

          Yes it does.

Then why do you refuse to keep His commandments?

            John 14:23-24
Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.
Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

You go around living a life of sin and perversion, making it necessary for Jesus to preemptively and temporarily die so that you at least have a shot at Salvation. And then you turn around and throw His gift right back in his face. If that's not hateful, I don't know what is.
            II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. Re: What is this place?

Welcome friend, to the most balanced Christian Forum on the entire Internet. Here like minded people discuss timely issues faced by decent Christians during these troubling times.
Tell me friend, have you heard the good news about Jesus?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

OK but even in your weird system, there must be one God to rule over all the others - the Mitt Romney of the gods, if you will. So who is it you worship? Is it satan or muoohamhead or fat buddah? It doesn't seem like you worship Jesus Christ.

The Holy Bible tells us about the LORD. Nature, and all study of nature (science), confirms it.

How did you come to this conclusion? What made you think to yourself, Artemis really exists and really does hold the power over the hunt, and what does that even mean? Do you hunt and does Artemis magically guide your arrows? Does he do that for every hunter simultaneously throughout the world? Does one have to speak Ancient Greek to communicate with him? How does this work, because I have to say, it sounds to me like it's really naught but a theater of imaginary friends with whom you identify as relevant to any given circumstance.

I know what paganism is, thanks. Now please answer the question: what EVIDENCE (however weak or flimsy) do you have of their existence? Have they ever shown themselves to you or communicated with you? Believing in something with no evidence to support it is insane.

Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

                                Dear friend:

Let's assume arguendo that the are multiple gods and goddesses who hold power over different things (and may Jesus forgive me for saying that even arguendo). On the basis of what evidence do you know what gods and goddesses there are and what their powers are? There are many pagan traditions in the world that teach different things about those gods and goddesses, so it's not just a matter of different names. For example, different pagan traditions around the world have different deities of the hunt that differ widely from your Artemis. How do you know which pagan tradition is right?

If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.
