    Hello!

    My name is David Arland. I go to the Trinity Baptist Church in New York. This is definitely a cliche answer, but my favorite Bible verse is John 3:16. It just explains God's perfect and undying love and devotion to us. What more could you ask for from a verse? I came to know Jesus as a young boy. I was raised by a God-fearing father and mother, one of the rare women who actually knew how to properly submit to her husband. I thank the Lord everyday for giving me the gift of a Christian upbringing.

    I look forward to getting to know all of you.

          I'm also a huge fan of John 3:16. It really lets the unbelievers (joos, mooslims, boodists, etc.) know in no uncertain terms that they are going to Hell.

          Can't say they haven't been warned!

                  Well, when I was very young, the first story about Jesus that my parents ever told me was the story of Easter. I knew then and there that a God who was willing to sacrifice his own Son for the sins of the groveling, immoral, filthy masses was a God who deserved to be glorified and worshiped for the rest of my days.

                  There were a lot of temptations out there, mainly provided by my schoolmates, but even as a young boy I knew enough to steer clear of those heathens, lest I damn myself to Hell. I prefer the difficult, yet rewarding, life of a Christian over the filthy, disgusting life of a modern young adult.

                      John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

                      Just two verses further on...
