    I Used to Worship Science and Hate Jesus, Now I'm not So Sure . . .

    I've just re-looked at all my posts and I really do feel shamed of myself. This is a honest post and I am really sorry. I really feel shamed. I think I just became angry because of my love for the moon landings and I wanted to fight the delusional, in my opinion, theories.

    Why have I changed my mood? Because of an old friend; George Strait (Country singer) Normally, I listen to him when I'm in a angry mood. One of his best songs "Here for a good time" explains life in totality - "I'm not here for a long time, I'm here for a good time..."     I know I said some mean and very bad things to people on this forum, which I really do regret. People are entitled to their own belief and what I said, honestly, I didn't mean. I do respect people with religious belief. I listen to George Straight, Johnny Cash etc - people who are very religious - and I love their music because of the passion and message they allude in their lyrics about life.

    So, what now? Well, I think it would be good for me to do what's right and introduce myself to you guys, honestly. I'm from United Kingdom, 28 years of age, and, honestly, I do have a PhD in Astrophysics at Manchester University. As some of you would know, I'm not the best at English. Me, I'm agnostic. Some days I believe and some days I don't, really not trying to disrespect anyone, but it's my belief. I didn't want to leave this forum without saying I'm sorry for what I've done.

    Even though someday it's not and someday it is my belief, today is the day that I believe, and may Christ be with you all...

              That's very politically correct of you, but you must be aware that Christianity (and the other Abrahamic religions, Islam and Judaism) condone slavery, rape, murder, and genocide.

                                              This is sometime why I don't believe. This is my belief, and no one can argue that, not even God. If I go to Heaven, that's great. If I don't, that's fine; I will always believe. Everyone should be equal, even homosexuality. I know the bible calls it a sin, but I also love everyone, I don't hate or judge people who don't share my beliefs, etc. Homosexuality is not a choice, nor is it changeable. This is my belief and no one can change it.

                                                  Bunk! People change their minds all the time! I used to be a fuzzy bunny Christian who believed I should enhance my mind with an education and get a career. Now I realize it was just the path God put me on.

                                                  As for the demons of homosexuality. A number of our True Christian™ men were once rump rangers like yourself, but God cured them! Perhaps take a look over in our Straight 4 Jesus! (Back Door Christians) section and see if there's something there that can help you.
