    Re: Merry Meet, Christians

    Glory!

I appreciate your willing to get me to your saviour. But you see, maybe I have a lack of strength that you seem to own. Maybe I am a weak person, but I couldn't bear this life if I couldn't be happy or honest with myself. I can't be a strong person as you are and, let's be honest, even your bible tells us, that only very rare get into heaven.

That reincarnation and the Goddess are beliefs which are very, very old and already existed thousands of years before Christianity, mostly by the celtics.
In fact, our religions have more in common than you actually think.

Let's take an example. On 25th of december, when Jesus Christ was born by a virgin, the lightest north star led 3 kings to his birth place. It is also known, that Jesus Christ died on the cross and got resurrected 3 days later. That is for your religion.

Wiccas also celebrate the 25th of december, but because of the midwinter. On that time, the lightest star in the sky is the "Sirius" and is part of the star sign "the three kings". On the next day, when the sun is rising, it is directly under the star sign "the virgin", so it looks like the new sun gets born by the virgin.
Also at the midwinter, the sun will stop to rise later at the evening and it will be the same for 3 days, which is called "the death of the sun". after that 3 days, the sun starts to rise earlier again and shine more brightly than before.
In fact, in that old believes Jesus Christ is a metapher for the sun, since both are called "the light of the world".
I don't want to weaken you in your believe, since I actually admire your faith and I think, I couldnt do so, even if I wanted to . But if you are interested in such things, this theory is actually very interesting.

Yes, and you're showing your ignorance by thinking that the problem in question can even be phrased that way.

...How did our heart stop beating?...
Study medicine and find out. Oh, wait, that's "hard" and requires "facts" when it's so much easier to bury our heads in our butts because it's all warm and gooshy and make the mean old world go away now please.

      ...Who are we?...
I'm me and you're you. As the kids say, herp derp?

...Why can we even think about this?...
Study philosophy and medicine and find out. Oh, wait, that's "hard" and requires... just see the above answer.

...So I think, there is some of this Spirit inside of us, our eternal soul...
      Unless you're ginger...

...When we die, our bodies die and that soul moves on and gets reborn in another body...
And then the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus do the hokey-pokey and they turns themselves about...

...Actually, there are souls who can't handle their death and become ghosts...
No ghosts in the Bible. Prepare to be mocked from two sides.

...Sometimes there were even cases, when people had an accident and fell into coma. As they woke up again, they were totally different persons, speaking another language, having different names, ect...
So instead of investigating this strange (and curiously void of any supporting references aside from the National Enquirer, according to Google) phenomenon, you are more than willing to ascribe it to supernatural causes:

...I think it could be possible that one of those scared and lost souls took over them in a moment when they were weak...
"Hey, this is MY coma victim. Go find your own. Damn squatters"

...But usually the souls get into newborn babies and start a new life...
And where are all these new souls coming from? The population of the Earth is increasing. Is there a "soul tree" somewhere?

...not remembering any of what happened in their old life. Only very powerful Wiccas con-artists can see some very rare moments or ideas of their former life...
Anyone want to bet that they were ALL Cleopatra?

...And no, this has nothing to do with fear of death...
Your denial of its existence speaks otherwise.

... I'm sorry to see you so disillusioned and bitter, Mr. Much...
Disillusioned? I'll take that as a compliment here, because I'm not the one desperately grasping to illusions to give my life meaning.

      ...I hope this good christians...
The fact you think they exist reveals more of your ignorance. Have you ever read the Bible?

...will help you find some love and faith in life.
Got love, thanks. Faith? Belief in that which cannot be shown to exist, let alone proven? Why the heck would I want that?

So this is why you believe them? Because they are very, very old beliefs?

You don't mind having no evidence for your beliefs? What if you found an older belief, say, sacrificing babies, would you adopt that one because it's older than your very, very old one?

For the record, my beliefs are rooted in the beginning of Time. The first man created knew and loved the LORD (Genesis 3:8-10).

            Re: Merry Meet, Christians

It is hard to explain, Mrs Etheldreda, why I believe in that, especially since my English isnt the best. Here isn't someone, who could translate some German into proper English? I'm pretty sure you know that feeling, when you think about Jesus Christ? Or about God? It's the same feeling I have towards the Goddess.
And I don't believe it because it's old, but because I feel, that this is the right thing for me. Because my lifestory makes perfect sense this way. Because I feel love towards myself and everything around me and because I feel, that everything is perfect like this. It is a lot about feelings, but as I said, I feel good and right like this. Just as you do with your Saviour Jesus Christ.

And to answer your question: No, I wouldn't harm a baby. I respect life, it is holy to me. Life isn't something to be thrown away like trash. Even if it were older than my believe, I wouldn't, because I wouldn't feel good with it.

You know, sometimes I just sit there with my friends, drinking a hot cup of tea and talking about how you could heal a cold or headache, or help your children if they are sick. Sometimes we dance and listen to music, or pray to our goddess. And sometimes we cook together or make some pies, while talking about some tricks and spells to make the day easier and to make some stress go away or we try to see the future, just to get a hint what we are doing wrong and what we should change.
Wiccas aren't such a big thing as you might think.

Mr. Much, I didn't say anything harmful to you to cause such a reaction. I feel offended by you and I think it is not your right to judge about me nor about my believes. I would prefer, if we just stop talking to each other, so we can avoid more anger. Thank you.

You can't know, Dr. Jones, but I am not the person to lie. No, I love life and I have too much respect for it to throw it away. And I would never harm an innocent little baby!

If you believe me or not is your choice, of course. I don't expect us to become best friends, I just wish that we can get along a little bit and share some experience with religion. That is all I wish. I am not here to deceive or seduce anyone, in fact, I am impressed by you guys. Don't worry, I swear on my very soul that I will never try to harm any of you willingly. I only want to talk. Christianity is very fascinating.

So how is your spreading lies, deception and ignorance (or at least trying to, because nobody here is buying) not harmful? Maybe not to me personally, but what about someone else who decides that what they're hearing from you makes them "feel better" so they buy into the crap you're spewing about gods and goddesses and decide not to seek treatment from qualified health professionals because the voice in their head (that YOU'VE CONVINCED THEM IS REAL) tells them that it wouldn't be a good thing, they should just take an axe down to local kindergarten because children's screams are music to the ears of the "gods"?

This is a very powerful prayer against Witchcraft. This prayer can shut down witches and satanists forever. Being that this prayer basically shuts down the senders of the hexes and vexes by returning their evil to them sevenfold. I now hurl it at you in Christ's name!

                            Father,
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I plead the precious uncorruptable blood of Jesus over myself and my church and everything that belongs to us. I ask for giant warrior Angels to be loosed from Heaven to surround and protect us. As your war club and weapons of war I break down, undamn, and blow up all walls of protection around all witches, warlocks, wizards, satanists, and the like, and I break the power of all curses, hexes, vexes, spells, charms, fetishes, physic prayers, physic thought, all witchcraft, sorcery, magic, voodoo, all mind control, jinxes, potions, bewitchments, death, destruction, sickness, pain, torment, physic power, physic warfare, prayer chains, and everything else being sent my way or my family members way, and I return it and the demons to the senders right now!, SEVENFOLD, and I BIND it to them by the Blood of Jesus!

Father, I pray that these lost souls will find the light of your son Jesus.. Their own snares and traps have been set against themselves.. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth I now loose them from all mindcontrol of satan!.. Father I also ask that you Bind the Holy Spirit to there hearts as a guide to your son Jesus.. So they may be set free from the bondages of satan.

                            In Jesus name I pray..
                            Amen
