I'm new here. Its my second time on this site, so I'm just wondering how things work around here. I understand what's expected of me, like no making fun (that's a big no-no), etc.

Oh, I meant like, my second time logging in... I've had some trouble with that... And well, to be honest, as you can read, I'm a Muslim. But I'm a lot more tolerant than others are. And I believe in Jesus as much as any other Christian here.

I heard those muslim people have some kind of weird sexual ritual with their babies. I wouldn't trust him, he is just saying what people want to hear, once he gets our trust, he will try to convert us all.

But the Jesus of the Bible and the Jesus of the Koran are two different people. We believe in the Jesus of the Bible.

Your version of Jesus has simply been made up. Which version sounds more realistic: the one that says Jesus died (the Bible) or the one that says allah took Jesus up to heaven and made someone else look like Him and let him be crucified in His place, creating the perfect illusion that Jesus was crucified (Koran)? Wouldn’t it just be easier to believe He really did die?

The Jesus we believe in is God. Your Jesus was only a prophet. Our Jesus and your Jesus are two completely different Jesuses, so let’s not pretend they’re the same.

Would you say you are tolerant of us because we are People of the Book? Because I find the Koran confusing on the subject of whether the People of the Book should be tolerated.

2:62 Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

3:85 If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah), never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter He will be in the ranks of those who have lost (All spiritual good).

Aren’t these verses contradictory? Can Christians go to heaven, or will everyone except muslims go to hell? Doesn’t sound very tolerant to me. And of course, the verse of the sword isn't very tolerant. Doesn't that abrogate all the verses about peace?

9:5 But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, an seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

I can't think of anything like this in the Bible.

Then what do Muslims say? Jesus is a "messenger?" Why do you cheapen the word of God?

Ephesians 1:7
