    Hi

    I am a passerby.
    I am a Christian. Anybody who regards me different, may God have mercy on your pathetic soul.
    I have been wondering, does Landover Baptist Church show sympathy for sinners such as rapists? This is not the true Christian way.

    I recently received a letter from a concerned parent. In the letter she told me that her daughter had been raped, but was refusing to marry her rapist as per Deuteronomy 22:28-29. The stupid girl actually wants to press charges on the man!

    Not only that, but that she also plans to kill the poor unborn baby her rapist had given her! Sickening! Have young people today got NO morals?

    Any and all advice on what I can say to convince this girl to do the right thing would be great. Should I start with the basics ?

    "Whore, you'll burn in Hell for all eternity - unless you marry your rapist"??

    Or should I go for a more subtle approach??

      Welcome friend. Landover does not discriminate. Does that answer your question?

      We follow the Bible, the actual Bible. Tell me friend, where do you get your guidance from?

          Surely you must. While I was browsing through, I saw you reply to a post of a trolling homosexual German which a discriminatory post about Europeans. Something about if you get a nickel by every shock from a "eurofag" you'd be a millionaire. If that is not discriminating Europeans then what is it?

                          So you come in here looking to start a fight and to sow discord among brethren (a sin God hates - see Proverbs 6:16-19), and on top of that, you have nothing to accuse us of doing that is in opposition to the Bible.

                          The Bible we love and follow. If we have erred, then show us how we have erred. We'll listen.

                          But if you're here to accuse us of being non-stylistic and not politically correct, then so be it. Or maybe you are a eurofag? Are you?

                          We are concerned with what God thinks, friend, not with what man thinks...

                          I Peter 4:16: "Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf."

                                  It's "discriminating" European homosexuals (something that God of the Bible wholeheartedly approves of). Read Deuteronomy or Leviticus if you need a refresher.

                                          Obviously not. Unlike you we expect rapists to take full responsibility for damaging the honour of the raped girl's father. Who else is going to marry damaged goods? God's guidance in this matter is clear. I mean can you imagine how grumpy that wife is going to be? Forever?

                                          And if they rape another man's wife or betrothed virgin then the death penalty for him is the only option. Please become better read.
