I don't think you have any idea what you are in for if you choose to be a bisexual like I was. I haven't been here in awhile but I should have listened to these smart people.

I went on a "date" with another woman and it cost me everything. My education, my money, my happiness and my future. The twenty minutes of simultaneous and mutual cunnilingus just wasn't worth what came next. A "Death Spiral" could not be a more accurate assessment of my recent misery.

Why do you not like Jesus and want to be with him in heaven?

I must say that your words are most reminiscent of mine own conversations with the Hell bound.

Being able to step outside of one's perspective and into a more posivitavist epistemological framework is the hallmark of being able to influence paradigm shift in even the most entrenched atheistical into accepting Jesus into their lives.

While it is useful to 'place oneself self' in the shoes of the Heathen as part of a participant observation ethnographical exploration of the secularist culture, when dealing with the reality of the Bible one must always refer to the Bible for the philosophical underpinnings of one's means of learning about the Bible.

This may seem like circular reasoning but it is not. Every thing we know about God comes from the Bible so our knowledge of God is unto Biblical Grounded Theory. As we can see: science done right fits the Bible in every way when the epistemological approach used is Biblical Grounded Theory.

Matthew 6:25 "Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?"

God does not want us to think: He made us, He owns us and He wants us to obey.

The verse you quoted, Matthew 6:25, would certainly seem to support your conclusion that God does not want us to think but to only to obey Him.

If God then doesn't want us to think, is thinking itself then a sin? Or am I simply over thinking this?

It stands to reason that God wants us not to think about not refusing to disobey Him but to think about refusing to not disobeying Him.

When I woke up on the couch this morning I had a strange feeling something wonderful had happened.

Then I logged onto the forum and discovered Lord Jesus had made me a forum member! I feel so humble and unworthy.

I thought I came here intending to mock the Godly folk on these boards but instead I find that I was led here for a reason. Wow, just wow.

I know I’m not saved; I've been a sin filled, sex obsessed, fornicating, God mocking atheist and a smoker of the devil’s cabbage (marijuana) for so long I never dreamed there might be even the tiniest hope of redemption.

Yet since I've been here the kindness and charity shown by the True Christians has just been amazing. With your continued forbearance and guidance and Jesus’s guiding hand I now believe there might be a chance even for a foul sinner like me to be entered by the Holy Spirit.

I’ll keep reading my Bible and trying my best. I just hope one day I’ll find myself on my knees filled with the love of Jesus.

Granny, maybe there’s a chance for me to sit beside you in the good seats watching the damned burn. I think all those whacks with the Bible you gave me were just what I needed. I can only hope and pray and try not to back slide.

Friend, all human beings deserve eternal burning and nothing more. But when I was promoted to True Christian™ I gained the promise that I would be allowed to worship at the feet of my omniscient Creator for all eternity instead. Since those are the only two choice available to me, I will take it!

But this is only possible because of Jesus' temporary sacrifice. If it weren't for Christ's three day period of total unconsciousness, we could only be saved through the Law, and unfortunately, all have sinned according to God's word.

So it is quite the blessing that we can be cleasned of sin through Christ's forgiveness. Somebody has to laugh while the vast majority of creation burns in Hell. Otherwise, what would be the point of all that arbitrary suffering?

I do hope you make it, friend. Only through Christ is salvation possible. The Law is simply too hard for anyone to follow. Romans 3:23 says so.
