Hello, I'm new here. I have recently become unemployed, and I started going back to church recently. I've come to the conclusion that I can't do it alone, and that I need Jesus Christ to guide me along. During that journey, I've found your Church online, and from the little bit I've read, I'm truely amazed. Amazed to see how many lives God has touched in so many of you. I'm excited about my new journey, and would love to get to know more about Christ, with your help. Thanks.

Re: Praise Jesus
I attend 1st Swedish Baptist Church, it's a very small church. My favorite verse so far is Psalm 18:2 "The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower."Daniel 2:44 "And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever."

Re: Praise Jesus
Good evening, MR. Richards. Why do you attend a "Swedish" church. That seems like a contradiction in terms. Are you one of those Scandinavian socialist liberals? Homersexural marriage has been legal in Sweden since 2009 and here you're openly admitting to being a Swedish sodomite?Originally posted by Harry Richards View PostI attend 1st Swedish Baptist Church, it's a very small church. Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Re: Praise Jesus
Oh, I think our congregation is quite different then that. We're mainly made up of older Swedish Conservatives. I know of no homosexuals in my church. Yet I'm new there, so that doesn't mean there isn't one. I want to thank you for the back story though, I was unaware.Originally posted by Marc Thyme View PostGood evening, MR. Richards. Hi Mary, thank you for the warm welcome. I have been praying and asking the Lord for his guidance. Re: Praise Jesus
Son, what attracted you to this Swedish church in the first place? Was it its close proximity to a Metra station? Metra trains are known malemeat markets across Chicagoland. Find an Independent Baptist Church with no ties to God-forsaken Sweden as soon as possible and renounce your lieberal Swedish ancestry while praying to God for forgiveness. Then you can start to get yourself on track to an eternity of perfect bliss worshipping our Lord and Savior instead of ending up skewered like a Swedish meatball on the end of satan's schlong.Originally posted by Harry Richards View PostOh, I think our congregation is quite different then that. I'll keep your concern in mind, with my eyes wide open for any shenanigans. All well so far. I'm of English(Wales) decent, I do find the Swedish heritage quite amazing, especially the food. I don't know for sure, but I think God gave the Swedes an amazing ability when it comes to food. I thought I ate large portions. Lol Not until my first Sunday brunch before Church, did I realize what I was missing.Originally posted by Marc Thyme View PostSon, what attracted you to this Swedish church in the first place? Son, please talk to one of the Godly pastors of Landover about getting your "attractions" under control and back to Jesus Christ where they belong. All of your more-than-healthy interest in Swedish things can only land you in the lake of fire and that is so avoidable!
