God created man perfect. But man (Adam) was beguiled by the woman and sinned. This sin is transmuted to all of Adam's offspring.

Romans 5:12 (1611 King James Bible)

Wherefore, as by one man sinne entred into the world, and death by sin: and so death passed vpon all men, for that all haue sinned.
So, while God's creation was perfect, it was corrupted through no fault of God, who is perfect. With this corruption, mankind henceforth was an abomination unto the sinless Creator.

The only way out of this unfortunate situation was for God to offer a blood sacrifice, through His Son, Jesus.

So God sent Himself, to be temporarily sacrificed to Himself, so that He could smell the sweet savor of blood, and finally be appeased.

Genesis 8:21 (1611 King James Bible)

And the LORD smelled a sweete sauour, and the LORD said in his heart, I will not againe curse the ground any more for mans sake; for the imagination of mans heart is euil from his youth: neither will I againe smite any more euery thing liuing, as I haue done.

    I Kings 7:23

Tell us what church you go to and what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus. Anything else you want to share with us about how Jesus has blessed you is welcomed too.

Are you a hater of God that believes He is a morally bankrupt monster? Read Why, you ask, is God so angry? to see that it is in fact you that is the monster that mercilessly and infinitely torments God.

Stop this relentless torturing of God and accept Jesus today!

No, a perfect man would never sin. Sounds like God made a defect product and he is trying to shift the blame. I would expect more from God than that. Sort of like a used car salesman insisting that the car he sold you was perfect and it was your fault that it broke down so he is not going to honor his obligation to repair it.

He sacrificed himself temporarily. How could that permanently appease him? It is sort of like damaging your neighbors property and giving him some money to appease him and then deciding to take your money back. Is your neighbor going to be permanently appeased by this? I don't think so. I think your neighbor would be pretty unappeased.

Why, isn't your wife fullfilling her duties to you? If you want a whore I suggest you go out on the street. (Just bear in mind the penalty for adultery.) There are a lot more of them there than there are in this holy forum, at least I hope so.

Don't be facetious. For your information, I've engaged in coitus with whores charging ten times as much as you could ever get away with. That was all before I found God. I found His grace and glory one night in the eye of a drug-induced storm. I prayed for guidance and forgiveness and in His great wisdom He saw fit to provide for me.

Further, I resent your implication that I copulate with my wife for personal gratification. I leave the selfish hedonism to atheists, fags and liberals. Friend, sex is for procreation; for populating this beautiful planet with conservative, God-fearing young boys and girls. If you don't understand that, I feel sorry for you. I guess you're still chasing the liberal myth of the supposed "female orgasm". Good luck to you on your morally bankrupt quest.

Now, how about you put that smart mouth of yours to work on the street?

I suppose this is as good a place as any since it's introducing new people and I am unable to find the option to post new threads.

Hello, my name is Stanley, and I am strongly considering converting to baptism although I'm not 100% sure it's right for me, and thus I asked a friend of mine for a place to meet outgoing baptist followers.

I've looked around the forums quite a bit, and I have to say that I'm surprised how extreme things seem to get around here, not to mention how quickly everyone seems to jump to conclusions about people they don't even know.

                      Re: Hi, how are you

We are Baptists, Brother Draknirm. Baptism is the ritual washing away of sins. You need both, would be my guess.

God has brought you here that you may be saved and spared the fires of Perdition. I fear you have far to go. I believe I detect a strong streak of insolance.

We would like for you to prepare a proper introductory message. We want to know how you got on to God and Jesus and what congregation you have joined. Who is your Pastor? Have you son's?

Tell us of your walk with Jesus.

                      God Bless!
God judgeth the righteous, And God is angry with the wicked every day- Psalm 7:11

What leads you to believe that I have a streak of insolence, fine fellow?

As for an introductory message, I come from a rural area in southern Idaho, lived there for about twenty years. My father is the one whom taught me about God and Jesus and I have read the bible he gave me from cover to cover. Unfortunately however, he never took me to any established churches and if I ever asked him about it he would scold and yell at me, never explaining why either. Thus, I am at a loss as to which teaching of god is the correct one as I am unfamiliar with the differences and am trying to give each one it's fair chance.

My favorite bible verse is Jesus' own "it is finished". I feel as though it implies he has experienced great happiness knowing that his sacrifice would save much of humanity from condemnation and I find it inspirational for a great man to give up so much to aid the many.

Oh, hello there. Welcome. You're being insolent and rude. I don't like you.

For starters, these lovely TrueChristians are informing you and carefully giving you tailored advice, which you are uneloquently ignoring. Proverbs 19:20 states
'Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter
end.' Would you ignore the voice of God if he bellowed down from the sky at you? No? But these TrueChristians ARE the voice of God, friend. Listen up. Take heed. Hell won't be pleasant.
Ruth 1:16; Ruth 1:17 : 16 And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:
17 Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the Lord do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.

Ah, I do believe you are referring to John 19:30. A truly powerful verse it is, at that moment prophecy was fulfilled and the LORD sacrificed his son to save us! Glory!

It is unfortunate that your father refused to honor the Sabbath. However, you are a grown man, so you should take charge now and abandon his heathenish habits. Also don't forget to tithe.
